Hi everyone,
It's time again for the August progression report. I've so much fun implementing interesting systems this month. Let's take closer look at new updates.
First, I've reworked the crafting system. I looked at feedbacks and see that people doesn't like the idea that we have to build a workshop and only use machines there to craft items. With new update, you will be provided a Workbench at start of the game and it allows you to craft basic items and unlock more later.
Secondly, I've spent a lot of time this month to work on animal system. It was so much fun walking around, petting them, giving them treats are enough for me to enjoy after hours of programming.
I updated most of animal sprites and add more animals. Also, animal can have a chance to be shiny. (Chicken & Cow below)
Here is a screenshot in case you want to see how they look ingame.
I've also worked on various system but it's mostly technical stuff like this accessory equippment system.
You can unlock these items while exploring the game.
Last but not least, here is also a gameplay video for this update.
Let me know if you have any feedback!
Thank you for reading and see you again next month!
