Ossu,
There’s a fair chance that when you think of drifting, a particular genre of music comes to your mind—Eurobeat. Originally born in Europe, this high-energy dance music became synonymous with the thrill of street racing, thanks to the Internet and countless videos pairing its fast beats with drifting action. The legendary anime Initial D cemented its place in car culture, making Eurobeat an essential part of the Japanese drifting scene.
That’s why JDM: Japanese Drift Master wouldn’t be complete without it. We want players to truly feel the intensity and adrenaline of drifting, accompanied by a soundtrack they already associate with racing games and Japanese street racing in general. Without further ado, please enjoy the official music video for our original Eurobeat track:
Kamil Hasselhoff, Naski, Marga - LIFESHIFTFIRE! (from JDM: Japanese Drift Master)
Be sure to add it to your gaming playlists—we hope this catchy beat stays with you for a long time, making your racing and drifting adventures even more exciting!
The song made its debut yesterday alongside the latest JDM: Japanese Drift Master trailer at the Future Games Show. We're incredibly grateful for the spotlight, giving us the chance to showcase many exciting aspects of the upcoming game. If you missed the show, check out the trailer here:
