Hello Chubat’s Chosen
Like the winged purple wonder we’re always watching and listening to feedback. Thanks for all your support so far, our main goal is that you have fun scourging the lands of Livmore.
Now onto the updates!
Feature and Balance Changes/Improvements:
- Added new Player Relics: Pumpkin, Spirit Spaulders, Spirit Cutlass, Cleric's Robe, Catalogue, Flask of Clarity
Dev Note: We’re adding some Mana related Relics to further increase variety in playstyle and deckbuilding
- Player can now hover on Relics in battle to see their progress or status (Such as the number of units, amount of cards played, etc)
Dev Note: We considered some UI systems to show the Relic status/progress. We decided on enhancing the Relic Tooltip because it is the cleanest and one of the more accessible ways to preview the Relic status/progress.
- Added counters for current units and the dead amount for both player and enemy
Dev Note: In addition to the Relic tooltip information, we are adding this UI so the player can easily monitor some Relics which are triggered based on the number of units and dead units
- Changed some Maps by making the first signpost closer to the player’s portal, reducing enemy funnelling towards your Portal.
Dev Note: There will be more occurrences where enemies will approach your portal from 2 different lanes. This is implemented to reduce enemy clumping up and reaching critical mass of units, thus overwhelming the player in front of the portal. We will keep improving our map balance as this requires more time.
- Decreased the HP of Snowfall units by a bit
- Decreased the HP of Summoner units by a bit
- Decreased the overall spawn rate of Strong Ranged Units and Summoner Units
- Destroy Battles:
- Increases initial reinforcements timer from 240s to 300s
- Increases the intensity of the first enemy reinforcement
- The second reinforcement will now be the final big wave of enemies, instead of the third.
Dev Note: We are constantly monitoring analytical data regarding difficulty progression and considering multiple approaches to better tweak the game. From the feedback we received, there are some spike in difficulties but we are still pinpointing
- Survive Battles:
- Decreases Survive Mission time duration from 240s to 180s
- Added additional Horn of Battle enemy relic to Survive Mission to compensate the decreased timer
Dev Note: We are decreasing the time duration to decrease the amount of “dragginess” and increase the intensity of “Survive” battles. To compensate for this, we are slightly increasing the spawn rate of enemies to better portray the survival nature of the battle.
Other Changes:
- Camera Zoom is now saved between battles
- Mouse Camera control is disabled when the player is hovering over cards to prevent unwanted camera movement
- Fixed Achievement for reaching Commander level 10 not triggering properly
- Fixed Razorguard's head
- Fixed Tome of Demonic Ritual from not activating for the rest of the battle if you “break” the ritual once
- Increases readability of some texts in commander selection, including the commander's bio and scenario description
- The gem on the bottom of cards and relics should properly show their rarity now
- Added new art for The Cavalry's Here
- Fixed Al'Noobi Battle Headgear Enemy Relic from triggering too often
- Removed 3 stacks of Divine Barrier from Boss Battles, they don’t really need them…
