The time has come for an update on development and for us to open a window into some awesome new features that we’re excited to be sharing with you!
This will be the first of many updates, but to get the ball rolling this post will showcase a snippet into one of the more underrated features of a property, yet incredibly vital, the windows! Now you may be thinking that windows can’t be all that exciting but get a load of this…
One standout feature concerning our windows is how they react with the outside world, if the window is in the direct path of the sun, then rays of sunshine will shimmer through the window creating a visible beam of light, making even the smallest dust particles sparkle. However on the other hand, if a window isn't in the direct path of the sun, the game will still produce realistic levels of indirect lighting, ensuring that the room is still sufficiently lit.
There’s a whole world outside of the walls of your property in which you’ll be free to fill the sky with the golden glow of a sunset or a cold darkness, all by manipulating time within the time of day wheel.
If you happen to be a fan of fresh air and beautiful sunsets, then renovating and designing properties will be a breeze as you’ll be able to freely place windows anywhere on a wall that you desire, all whilst creating dynamic lighting and shadows.
Our large catalog of windows can be interacted with to either open or close at will, in both the overview and first person camera mode. With a vast range of windows at your disposal, you’ll be able to let your creativity flow and create the properties of your wildest dreams.
The lighting magic doesn't stop there though, as to ensure the visual experience is as similar as possible to the real world, lights will react differently depending on the surface and texture type, making it easier to create the most mesmerizing scenes and renovations.
We also wanted to give you an update on the launch time frame of the game. We are aware that it is no longer Q2 2020 which is our current Steam launch window, as many of you have suspected we will not be launching the game in 2020. We are working hard on the games development and making it the best possible version it can be. We can update you all and let you know the game will be launching in 2021. Once we have a better idea of the window we will update that too - for now we will continue to keep these development blogs coming so you have an insight into development! Thanks everyone for your continued support on the project!
Until next time!
