Hey everyone, and welcome back to Community Bulletin - May 2025 (Also known as Community Bulletin #31)!
As always, it’s been busy around here with tons of exciting updates from the dev team and the community. Let's jump straight in!
UPDATE v3.19 PREVIEW
Update v3.19 is on the way! With it comes some powerful new tools designed to make Risk fairer and more enjoyable for everyone. Here are some highlights:
- Block Lists: Finally here! Block players who disrupt your games and prevent unwanted interactions.
- Creating a safe space for the Community: Enhanced Streamer Mode, new report types for stream snipers, and players cannot re-enter pregame lobby when kicked out by Host
- Postgame step for players who surrender: Even if you surrender early, you'll still get important post-match information and placement clarity.

UPDATE v3.18 HOTFIXES
Update v3.18 has well and truly landed after a huge content update as well as a bunch of hotfixes and minor updates to get it ticking over nicely. Our latest release 3.18.4 should have resolved any remaining issues players had with new visual glitches and disconnects, but if you believe you've found problems that are still present, as always, please reach out here.
This RISK community never ceases to amaze us with your dedication (and creativity) to the game. Here’s what you’ve all been up to lately!

Community Maps
Speaking of community maps...
Our next map pack features 4 maps designed by the RISK community, straight from the Discord's Map Design Competition held back in December 2023!
We were blown away by the creativity and detail in these entries, so much so that we reached out and collaborated with some of the original artists to bring their visions to life in-game.
These are the 4 maps from the competition that will be entering our game!
Drained Great Lakes - Jamoz
Terraformed Venus - Remix GameYT
Abandoned Crystal mines - Afotika
Crown of the Skies - SerakHawk
Thank you again to everyone who entered!
Memes
A few months ago the RISK community discord ran their own meme competition!
Congratulations to the winners:
🥇 @Marcellus Fuse 98 votes / 32%
🥈 @Rocket Powered Fitz 71 votes / 23%
🥉 @Humanthenarrator 56 votes / 19%
These memes definitely gave us a good laugh!
Reviews
We got some Risky and Risk-free reviews for you this month which might just make you laugh 😉.
Seeing OG Risk board game players playing our game never ceases to amaze us. Thank you for playing! While on the topic of the board game, if you’ve played, which version is your favourite?
A bit off topic but we got some fun facts about Sandy Soils and Farming in the Netherlands!
