We're still working hard to bring you the next chapter of our saga of Dimensions VIP, and we're getting ready for the release of the next major update.
In the upcoming version, we have several key improvements and content updates for you.
Futopia Dimension
The next story in our journey is the dimension story of Futopia that we have previously teased. Futopia is inspired by the world of Philip K. Dick and the Blade Runner movies. You will encounter and learn about human-like replicants that are built for sex and pleasure, and whose desires to be more human put them at odds with society.
Custom Girl Actions and New Experimental Animation Format
We are also introducing a new feature, currently available in a trial phase for Rachel Justice only. The feature, called custom actions, allow for unique interactions per girl. For Rachel Justice, this includes a custom dungeon session featuring a new animation.
The new animation for Rachel is an experiment we're trying out to see how and whether we can make more animations easier and faster. Please let us know what you think once you see it.
Note that the video does have audio, but we're muting the video for this release because nothing else in the game has audio, and we still haven't decided whether to implement this form of animations and any audio, so we don't want to add any volume controls in the game.
This custom actions feature allows us to create a more rich experience for each girl and for the overall story.
Workshop!
We're finally ready to release the workshop. The workshop allows you to create and recycle items, some of which are very hard or even impossible to find. You can now get rid of items you no longer need, although the return may be less than you anticipate.
The workshop uses materials to create new items. You can find materials from quests, from cleaning out a space when creating new rooms, from the store, or from recycling items you no longer need.
We have great plans for the workshop, which is one of the reasons it has take a long time to get it done. However, rather than wait for all the features to be ready (can you say facility room upgrades?) we have decided to release it now, with the basic functionality for item creation and recycling in place.
You can also upgrade the workshop to have room to create multiple items at the same time. For the launch of the workshop, we're going to add a special gems offer for the workshop slot upgrade, which will be available through August 2020.
We're still looking for balancing on the workshop before we announce further upgrades.
Note that recycling items give you much less materials than you originally used to create the items, so make sure you only recycle things you do not need.
Three New French Resistance Girls
There are three new girls to recruit in this update. These 2- and 3-star girls are found through girl cards only, at least for now, and can be found only after completing the French Resistance dimension story.
The three new girls are (from left to right) Antoinette, Jacqueline, and Emile. They do not have any additional content for now, but we would like your input on which girl is your favorite so we can start expanding the content for the highest voted girl first.
Login Rewards Calendar
Another quality of life update is the addition of a calendar that shows the rewards you get each day for logging in to the game.
The daily login rewards are based on the day of the month and is the same each month. As such, you can see which rewards are upcoming and when to log in next month to get your favorite rewards.
There are other updates too, but most of those exist behind the scenes on the server, and enables us to make more dynamic and flexible stories, girls, and gameplay.
The 0.4 update is in final testing and polishing now, so expect a release in 1-2 weeks.
