First of all, I want to thank everyone who has voted for us in the Cozy Quest!
Snacko was able to win BOTH Coziest Simulation and Coziest Hidden Gem! I'm so touched by your support, which did help fuel me for...
✨ [NEW] Removing Fence Connections
You can now delete fence connections
Go into Put Away mode -> click or press A on the connection you want to go away
If you make a mistake, you can undo/redo
If you want to reset, move the fence post to reset to default connections
Note: known issue where it will highlight all connections and may not unhighlight if you don't move your camera/cursor off of it before exiting build mode. Hovering over a connection can also display the hovered item as no buildable
🐛 Bug Fixes
Fixed issue where sometimes you will have floating fake fence connections in space
Removing reference to being able to create Fasteners with a Furnace
Changed "Vintage Stool" requirement for "Traditional Craftsmanship" quest to "Vintage Chair" so the requirements are from the quest above and not another line, creating a potential softlock
📑 Better Wiki
Non-gameplay aside, I've also been working on the wiki all week! This is something I knew was important, especially for a game like Snacko where many players want to know where to get something, how to craft, or how to unlock.
But, since it's not "actual dev work" like fixing bugs, I've always felt guilty stepping away from the game to work on things like this ;__:
In the process, the wiki is now much more "human editable". In the past, everything was stored in a Cargo data table, making it nearly impossible for most players to help contribute unless they also had the patience or tech background to dig through the messy tables of 600+ items!
Now, look how easy it is!
🍳 Food taste list
https://snacko.wiki.gg/wiki/Food_Taste
lists item, type(s), and taste(s)
organized by taste, but if an item has more than one, it will appear in all of them
there's also a separate list/page for each food type (meat, vegetable, etc.)
✨ Improved item pages
https://snacko.wiki.gg/wiki/Honey_Shroom
if you can obtain it from a quest as a reward, it will denote that and the OTHER rewards that quest gives
has information on all the crafting AND cooking recipes that it is used in
if it can be crafted or cooked, it will also have a recipe card with that, plus which quest unlocks it underneath if applicable
if it can be bought, it will show the price, the restock data, and if it's only sold after a quest
if it can be put into the furnace as fuel, it will now show the fuel amount
there is now a consolidated furnace fuel table on the crafting page
🐈 Better NPC pages
https://snacko.wiki.gg/wiki/Chae-Young
NPC pages now show up-to-date loves, likes, and dislikes
if they have a shop, it also shows up-to-date shop stock, restock info, and unlock info if applicable
shows all the quests they are the giver of, including the rewards
flower and heart events are now underneath a click to show spoiler button. if there is no data in there yet, it will show (To-Do) in the tab so you know there's nothing under that specific event tab
Okay Dokay... That's it! I still need to put up some how-to's and to-do's for the community in terms of the wiki, but I will be back to focusing more on 1.2.0.
Thank you very much for your support~ See you next patch 👋
