The game is now officially released. It is far from over though as only one plot arc is completed, and there are at least 2 more plot arcs. (Cizna guild arc & Jordin guild arc)
There are also long-length side quests to work on.
At the moment, there should be around 25ish hours of content.
A lot of minor stuff were adjusted as I played the game from the start once again. Quest passive timers were toned down, exp was generally boosted. Character balances were also adjusted, generally for better damage output.
It is probably wise to restart. The main reason for that is tanking change. You are not required to restart but will be missing out the changes.
What has been added:
1. A credit page has been added to the main menu.
2. Eton guild quest “Rat king” added.
3. “Extra” added to the main menu. It will be regularly updated.
4. Attacks now have its own sound effects. No longer there is only one dull attack sound. A few are missing sounds though as I couldn’t find proper sound effect files in time.
5. Eton guild quest “Kesper’s resolve” added.
6. Sysneca (The girl at Ezona shipwright) can be recruited once Eton guild plot is over. She is a wind-gun mage.
Below is a list of changes/fixes
1. More typo corrections.
2. A lot of minor exp gain adjustments are made here and there. This also includes loot drop rate alterations as well.
3. A side quest “Better hotdog” now has a tracker.
4. Tanking and taunts have been completely re-worked. So far, tanking was limited to Baba, Xander, and Konrad. Now, the taunt skill has been given to Kesper, Doreian, and Pierre.
Taunting also no longer works 100% time. For natural tanks (Baba, Xander, Doreian), their taunting skill will work most of times. For lesser tanks though, taunting effectively is greatly reduced.
Kesper having a taunting skill is fairly important because, as it turns out, he is the only tanking capable companion who can traverse Jordin territory from early to mid game. Xander is the other one but he is available only in late game.
5. Since Kesper and Pierre have been repurposed as tanks, their defence has been boosted.
6. Taunt skill itself now gives some boost to defence since a taunting tank can’t do anything else.
