Hello Exorcists,
It's been a day since Eastern Exorcist was launched. Our team was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the community. Many of you also gave us valuable suggestions and playthrough impressions of the game.
Thank you all for giving such great support to Eastern Exorcist!
We treat every comment and review you give us with importance. Thank you all for your compliments to the art style, and we will keep making more beautiful scenes in future content updates.
However, we know that the game is still not perfect. We’ve decided to share upcoming changes in the game with you today.
Update 1 Preview：
1. Adds distribution –> adds distribution will be changed according to the different difficulty settings.
The original idea of putting adds in the boss fight stage was to allow players to have quick stamina recovery by killing or parrying the adds. However, the actual game experience needs more polish. These are the changes we’ll make in Update 1:
[Casual/Normal] Remove all the adds during the boss fight.
[Hard] Keep the adds, but decrease their strength.
[Hard] Adding an achievement: Defeat all the challenge stages in hard mode.
2. Aerial combat –> Weaken enemies in the air and buff aerial attack efficiency.
It will be a long-term task for us, as we plan to keep adjusting the aerial combat experience.
In future updates, we plan to weaken all the aerial enemies, including the boss, Chu.
3. Stamina system –> Reduce the stamina cost in [Casual] difficulty
The stamina system is one of the critical features of the game, so we will keep collecting feedback to improve the system.
We are planning to reduce the stamina cost in [Casual] difficulty significantly.
4. English localization –> A brand new version of the translation is coming!
We are working with some experienced translators to bring a better localized version to the Western community.
The update for a better translation is coming soon!
All the plans and details optimization will be completed as soon as possible in the follow-up updates. Please take note of the recent official announcements to be informed of the specific update times.
