Steam Next Fest has only been running for a few days, but we've already been blown away by the response to HyperCore: Rhythm Bullet Hell!
One statistic in particular has genuinely surprised us:
We've seen almost as many wishlists as demo players.
As a small indie team, that's an incredible vote of confidence.
Every person who downloads the demo is taking a chance on a game they've probably never played before. Seeing so many of those players decide they want to come back for more means the world to us.
Why Wishlists Matter
Wishlists aren't just numbers on a dashboard.
They help independent games reach more players, improve visibility on Steam and give small developers a fighting chance of being discovered in an incredibly crowded space.
Every wishlist really helps, and every single one tells us we're building something people want to see more of.
Haven't Tried HyperCore Yet?
The new demo is available right now as part of Steam Next Fest.
In HyperCore, the music isn't there to help you.
It's trying to kill you.
Learn deadly patterns, chase high scores, survive increasingly demanding tracks and see how long you can stay alive against the beat.
Thank You
Whether you've wishlisted the game, played the demo, streamed it, shared it with friends or simply stopped by the Steam page, thank you.
Making games is hard.
Getting people to notice them can be even harder.
Seeing so many players try HyperCore and decide it's worth wishlisting has made this Next Fest one we'll never forget.
If you've enjoyed the demo and would like to support the game, please consider adding HyperCore to your Steam Wishlist.
And if you've already done so, thank you!
Now go survive the music.
