Competition #1 - Standard Mode
⚔️ Beat three bosses (The Watchdog, The Guardian and Azikel) in the standard game mode as quick as you can!
⚔️ The player with the best time will receive a key to a full version of Eldest Souls (once the game is released).
Competition #2 - Abyss Mode - The Guardian
⚔️ Beat The Guardian in the Abyss mode as quick as you can!
⚔️ Use Talent Points and Shards provided to you in this mode to gain an advantage! There are many ways to approach bosses. You decide. Remember - Your Build. Your Rules!
⚔️ Before starting your fight, make sure to show your Build.
⚔️ The player with the best time will receive a key to a full version of Eldest Souls (once the game is released).
Competition #3 - Abyss Mode - Azikel
⚔️ Beat Azikel in the Abyss mode as quick as you can!
⚔️ As with The Guardian - use various Talent Points and Shards!
⚔️ Before starting your fight, make sure to show your Build.
⚔️ 3 players with the best time will receive a key to a full version of Eldest Souls (once the game is released).
⚔️ And as an extra bonus, the most impressive videos will be featured on an official Eldest Souls - Speedrunners Showcase video! This applies to all the competition.
How to join a contest?
⚔️ First, download demo from Store Page: Eldest Souls on Steam.
⚔️ Standard Mode - launch the game and press "T" in the Main Menu to activate the timer on the top right of the screen. Time will start automatically when you gain control of the character and stop when you trigger the "endslate" at the end of the demo.
⚔️ Abyss Mode - this time mode is available without beating the whole demo, just choose it from the main menu. The in-game timer will start automatically at the beginning of the fight, and will stop once the encountered boss is defeated.
⚔️ When competing in the Abyss Mode category, you will have time to customize your build before the fight starts, with NEW talents and shards that are not available in the base demo!
⚔️ Remember that in the Abyss Mode competitions, you must display your chosen Build in your submitted video before starting a fight.
⚔️ Don't forget to start recording before you start to play or you may miss your best time!
⚔️ Submit your video before 2020.09.21 23:59 (CEST)!

⚔️ Publish a link to a video of your quickest run in this thread: Submit your video.
⚔️ Each player can submit unlimited number of videos, but please, act responsible and don't post too many links, we need your best run, thanks :)
Please, be aware that everybody can join in and show us some speedrun skills - but if you already have taken part in the previous Speedrun Contest and you won a prize then you can’t win once more! Make room for other players, you speed demon ;)
The winners will be announced on Monday, 2020.09.28.
