On the current situation with Corona we also have to realize that we are affected too.
Unfortunately, this is not only a local problem, it's a global problem.
It was originally planned to release the project on 1st of May 2020 on Kickstarter.
Unfortunately this will not be possible in a meaningful way and we had to find an alternative.
Kickstarter has also written an article about the fact, that in the current situation it will
be difficult to successfully fund a project and one should look for alternatives.
Here is the link to the article : https://www.kickstarter.com/articles/creative-projects-community-COVID-19
We then had several team meetings and also asked the community about it.
The team has now agreed that we should create our own campaign on our homepage.
This has many advantages as we don't have to pay any fees, have no time limit and we
can create our own decide how we want to build the campaign.
Additional time must be invested in the creation of the campaign, including updating and enhancing the homepage. This means the descriptions, details, rewards and payment systems that we provide in order
to guarantee a smooth process.
Based on these changes, it is simply not possible to keep to the release on 1st of May 2020.
We have decided to postpone the whole thing. There will be the following changes.
■ Livestreams on Saturday will be cancelled (Friday there will still be a stream)
■ Release for the streaming partners, 1st supporter, 2nd supporter and own
campaign are set on the same date
■ 2nd supporters are limited, at the latest at the start of the campaign they are no longer available
■ Release for the campaign is set for 22th of May 2020
■ Streaming Partner, 1st Supporter, 2nd Supporter have access to the demo from 22th of May 2020
■ public demo will continue to be released at some point, but it has not yet been decided whether it will be available via the homepage or Steam
We are also in discussion with one or the other investors, perhaps this will open up other possibilities.
If you still have ideas for the campaign, you are welcome to write them down in our Discord.
The livestreams on Friday will be available in the future, we will show news, updates and answer your questions. Unfortunately we had to make these changes to reduce the current or future problems.
We think that everyone can understand it. Even if the demo is only meant to
give a first impression of the game start, we don't want to sacrifice quality.
One more thing at the end. In this situation we can grow even more together.
And very important: Stay at home and stay healthy.
