Hey y’all! The demo for Lust For Lucre is now live! And it works great! Kinda. We’re a week out from the October Next Fest, and we finally have the demo ready in a playable state, and we want to get it out to your hands while we work on crushing the last few (hundred) bugs before finishing up work on the remaining damsels and flush out the overarching storyline. Right now, the demo only covers Kurvanog, and we’re still finishing up the dialogue for her main storyline, so there will be a lot of very rough dialogue that will be visible here. We’re mostly using this to get a good basis for where the game is, what’s fun, and what needs to be improved. Expect this demo to have some (a lot of) bugs, and please report them so that we can crush them!
Known bugs:
- General flow of everything is a bit janky.
- Nipples keep popping through clothing when transitioning scenes.
- Balance of items isn’t great, especially with early game date/dungeon items.
- Dungeon is lacking trap variety, and is going to get a lot more stuff.
- Stat points aren’t currently in the game, but need to be added. (These will be tracked by your current and total lust)
- Stats that are displayed in the Ars Uberia are incorrect.
- The current quest items may or may not work at all.
- … and a few hundred other things throughout the game.
Roadmap:
- Improve the UI and overall playability of the game.
- Balance out the items, and add more date/dungeon items to the game.
- Add several more trap types, loot, and other environmental hazards to the dungeons.
- And also consider adding multiple levels, branching paths, etc.
- Add the ability to level up your character properly using stat points, and use them to purchase perks.
- Add in romance scenes with each of the damsels.
- Add in different activities to each of the date locations (These are all planned, and are going to add a ton of things to do that aren’t just doing dates and rummaging through dungeons). Examples of this are:
- The Booty Bay Casino! Gamble away all of your hard-earned winnings.
- The Peeping Tom! Try to get a glimpse of naked ladies before being kicked out of the Oppai Onsen.
- The BF Hole! Dig your way through the ground and use a claw to pick up shiny treasure with the dwarves!
- And just generally fixing/improving a bunch of other things.
These are all going to be massively improved over the next few weeks, and as we work on these fixes for the game, the demo will continue to be updated.
Thanks for your consideration! Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!
