Good day, desert wanderers!
As we announced last week, the full version of Dust to the End is finally coming this Wednesday to Steam. Today we bring you a list of all the main changes that you will find on August 11th after updating or purchasing the game. Some of them are simple redesigns of the current features, but also you’ll find new functions as well as many new areas to visit in this post-apocalyptic wasteland you’re going to call “home”. We don’t want to bore you with too much talk, so let’s go straight to the point:
a) A complex world map with natural blocking elements where the path from one city to another becomes more difficult to walk. Journeys will demand more planning, and time to be completed.
b) We will include new exploration areas, such as towns hidden in the wastelands, journey events and side quests.
c) Now there’s a “perfect ending” to unlock after meeting certain requirements -- and it won’t be easy!
d) You can obtain the Civilian status and get its rewards permanently.
e) After choosing your destination, you’ll be able to enable the auto mode so the system brings you there automatically through the shortest path possible. If a battle starts in the middle of the journey, the game will leave the decision of how to proceed at your choice.
f) There will be new Legendary weapons to unlock.
At the same time, this update will optimize several existing features and fix issues identified by our team in the Early Access phase:
- Baker’s unique trait has been modified: your first supply consumption in combat won’t spend an action.
- Buff and Debuff status affect your team members in auto-combat mode.
- You can’t dismantle a base in which warehouse you stored quest items.
- The auto-combat mode will be available to use in more encounters.
- The display of Quest-Industry and Quest-Property has been modified.
- The crafting menu has been redesigned to make it more accessible and aesthetically pleasing. Also, the experience requirements to modify your equipment have changed.
- Some SFX have been replaced with high-quality music and effects.
- The number of medicines available in the black market will be significantly reduced to increase the difficulty of the game.
- The special effects of Legendary swords and machine guns will be increased.
- The Overweight penalty changed.
- You’ll find that a lot of things have changed in the dungeon zone, the “Bunker”. Environmental damage has been substantially increased and the monsters will be stronger than before. However, in exchange, the accessories you get in your raids will have much better attributes.
Your opinion and feedback are very important to us as it allows us to create a better experience for all players. So please, don’t hesitate to share your opinions regarding any of these changes, or new features you think should be added to the game. We’re eager to read them, so leave your message here or join 2PGames community on Discord.
Thanks for your time, have a nice day!
