Hi everyone! It’s been an exciting few weeks since we ended our Kickstarter campaign (with a whopping 303% of our original funding goal, yay!). Up until now, we have used Kickstarter updates as our primary communication channel, but starting today, we will be switching to Steam announcements. If you want to stay updated about our development process, we will post regular dev blogs, updates, videos and much more here on Steam – so we suggest you to Wishlist and Follow the game! You can also join our wonderful Discord community, which is growing into a welcoming, positive place for RPG fans and creative people.
We were already working on the beta build during the campaign, and we redoubled efforts as soon as it ended and we could fully focus on development. Thanks to that, and to the solid foundations that we had already laid even before the crowdfunding began, we are way ahead of schedule – and we managed to deliver the beta to Beta Tester Conqueror backers by late March, weeks (if not months) earlier than expected; and at this pace, we expect the first update will be ready very soon.
If you already have the beta, remember that you can report bugs and send us suggestions via this form. We are monitoring all reports and updating their status in that spreadsheet. You can also watch this short video explaining the best way to report a crash:

One thing we have realized in this couple of weeks is that we will need to pay a lot of attention to the onboarding process – as intuitive as Multiverse Designer is, it still needs some time to get used to its controls and possibilities. To address this issue for the time being, we have put together a list of useful shortcuts, and we are creating a series of videos where we tackle how to do different things in the map creator (we will get to the Cutscene Director eventually). You can watch them all in this playlist on our Youtube channel:

If you have any questions, suggestions or anything you want to discuss with us, feel free to leave us a comment here! You’ll be able to ask us directly very soon, mind you – we will resume our schedule of livestreams in the coming weeks. See you soon!
