Hello, esteemed lords and gentlemen~
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of a passionate lord, who selflessly offered assistance, I have decided to create simple sketches of various troop types. This has led me to reconsider my initial plans and include special troop types.
In the previous plan, only generic troops and a few special units were included. All cultures used the same set of character images. However, the new plan brings about some changes.
The English, French, German, Hungarian, Nordic, Italian, Polish and Iberian cultures will use generic European troops. The Eastern Roman Empire will have its own unique type of troops while all Islamic factions will use Arab cultural troops. Slavic regions will utilize one type of troop while nomadic cultures will use another.
Additionally, each culture will have their own special units and characters. This will result in a combination of generic troops and culturally specific units.
Troop recruitment will still be determined by the lord's culture rather than geographical location. The Eastern Roman Empire differs from other nations as it recruits exclusive central forces under the Emperor's command with regional forces recruited at military districts. The entire structure of the Eastern Roman Empire consists of central forces + regional forces + mercenaries.
Currently there are over 30 troop types but many more cultures remain to be represented - this is quite an undertaking for our dedicated lords! One wonders if they might lose their hair over this!
Once again we express gratitude towards these passionate lords for their contributions.
To show our appreciation I shall create a character based on his chosen name and family name; selecting a random fiefdom lordship currently unclaimed as part of the game script.
Furthermore another lord is preparing to reset all avatars using thick paint technique - details pending.
Regarding heraldry: another lord is also resetting them; my idea is that each fiefdom should have its own unique emblem when associated with a family; otherwise default emblems can be used.
Finally just a reminder that we plan to conduct small-scale testing during Chinese New Year with an estimated completion time frame between 1-2 months before updating onto original game platform.
We are currently seeking 1425 fiefs including England,French ,German,Nordic, northern Italy which vassals can play within . To be precise Catholicism ,Orthodoxy or non-religious lords can all participate in gameplay .
This week we mainly focused on adjusting UI elements in-game along with displaying character skills
Many hover tips have been added
Hover tips now provide exact numerical impact information regarding attributes affecting your Lordship
A search function has been added to the world map allowing players to input names longer than two characters for filtering purposes . Once matching names appear you may click directly on buttons leading you straight there
Time is running short with only several months remaining so please take interest by adding us onto your wishlist or following us closely .
There'll also be corresponding video logs available on Bilibili ; thank you very much for your support!
