Nordic lords can quickly assemble some mercenary battalions of average quality on a temporary basis. They only swear temporary allegiance to you for the sake of remuneration. However, unlike recruited mercenaries, these mercenaries will leave some time after the war.
Another feature of Nordic lords is that they can duel with lords of the same culture to determine the ownership of fiefs. Select a fief over which you have a claim, and use this fief as a wager. If you win, you can directly obtain the wager; if you lose, you will lose your reputation! You can not only challenge others for a fief, but it is also possible for others to challenge you. Whether to refuse or agree depends on you. You can either bribe them to give up the challenge or bravely accept it.
The capital city of a lord cannot be obtained through duels.
When you have a good relationship with a lord, you can also improve your fencing skills by having fencing matches with them. At the same time, a fencing ranking has been added to the data rankings. The ranking is determined based on the fencing levels of various lords, the number of times they have won the combat tournament, and the scores obtained from challenging lords ranked higher than themselves. You can issue challenges during interactions, or directly click the corresponding button in the ranking to do so. Challenges cannot be triggered if the diplomatic distance is exceeded.
Finally, I'm sorry to say that my workplace has stopped paying my salary for four months, and my housing provident fund has also been suspended for four months. This will inevitably affect the project progress and the frequency of internal testing updates. During this period, I will look for new job opportunities. It's uncertain whether I can get the four months' salary. I hope it won't come to the point of labor arbitration.
I believe things will get better. Currently, the internal testing is proceeding as normal, with 5 people accumulated each week. However, my update frequency will be reduced. I'm deeply sorry about this.
However, the promised update in May should still be feasible, although there will be more or less a reduction in functions.
