Launch was amazing. You all rock. Let's recap what's happened over August and talk about the themed update coming in October.
Community Achievements
- Esty89 ripped the game apart for hours on Twitch. He hasn't figured out the altars yet though. I know he'll get there!
- Esa got a huge score and willingly ended his run before running out of lives. Spoiler warning, Esa knows all the secrets.
- Rock Paper Shotgun included RASHLANDER in their Guilty Pleasures roundup.
What I Have Been Doing?
- You can see in the Bug Hit List many of the fires I have been stamping out. The game is much more stable and less reliant on good RNG than at launch. Thank you everyone who told me about a bug they found.
- Aside from bugs, I have also made adjustments to improve the overall experience. I've improved mechanics in the Loop, improved navigation throughout menus, added features to the Twitch Integration (like chat-centered research upgrades!), and made the Daily Highscores visible through the game menu.
- I've snuck features, secrets, and research upgrades into the game because I just can't help myself.
I Mentioned an Update?
- YES! Now that things are chugging along and relatively disaster free, I can focus on adding new ***exciting*** content. Expect the next update to have new obstacles, opportunities, secrets, buildings, areas, and upgrades--all grouped around a central theme. Rifts are opening in reality, and everything is getting...wobbly.
- September will be quiet on updates so that come October first your Steam library has an EXPLOSION of cool new stuff to
crash intoplay with!
Thank you for reading, for playing, and for being so incredibly cool.
