Greetings, Captains!
While developing Saturated Outer Space we are very passionate about making its storyline and narrative design positioning them as the main key features.
Recently, we have taken part in "Narrative in Games" online conference hosted by Higher School of Business Informatics the postgraduate business school of The National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia) in cooperation with the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation on the WN Hub platform, with the support of White Nights, Zavod Games, 1518 Studios, MYTONA and Belka Games.

Within the conference there was held a special competition of narrative design and scenario content in games. More than 50 game titles participated in a showcase sent from indie studios and standalone developers! The jury selected only 12 in their short-list.
Saturated Outer Space won the "Best Scenario of Debut Game" nomination in finals. Thanks to big efforts of our Lead Game+Narrative Designer with just a little help from the rest of thew team.

This award means that we are moving in the right direction striving to give players a unique game experience. Experience that is pleasant to share with others after playing a turn-based strategy.
After all, bugs can be fixed, balance can be adjusted, content can be added. But new narrative mechanics are not able to completely replace the negative perception of the game.
