We're happy to announce the Freedom of Movement patch, where we've re-written all of the player movement code to make it smoother, more reliable and more consistent across the board. It's a quick fix that should go a long way to making the game enjoyable for everyone in the long term.
Changelist:
- ADD: New bomb dispensers have been added to Octagon Lines, for those times you need to rain explosions down on the Night Terrors
- FIX: Rewrote all of the movement scripts to work more consistently across a wider range of hardware and framerates
- FIX: Improved the timing sync for the conveyor belts in Portal Belts for smoother animation and movement
- CHANGED: The fling mechanic on Octagon Lines has been dramatically lessened to improve consistency
