Weekly Dev Update #41
Week of February 15, 2021
Swirls and portals will be the pathway for strange fish and monsters into the world of Kaiju Fishing, so we want to spend a decent amount of time making that a unique visual.
SPARKLE AND CRACKLE
The portals that will populate the oceans in Kaiju Fishing are magical and mysterious. They crackle with a bit of energy and swirl with a magical galaxy effect. Where do they lead? Only the fish know...
Here are some effects we’re testing as we work to get portals into the environment.
Pretty, right? We’ll have more to show in the coming weeks as well so stay tuned!
