Trials of Fire Spirit Weekly Update (0.71) Release Notes
Good evening all,
Sorry for the slight delay. This week’s update comes with a new playable quest.
This branching quest allows you to choose your next objective at each stage so you can choose the next challenge to take on based on how your party is developing.
Also a change to how the way Power cards work in game.
As always, let us know what you think of the changes on Discord.
New Quest
Cursed Sonata
- Race to recover the one thing that can save your dying comrades.
- A branching quest where you can pick the next challenge.
Major Changes
Powers
This week’s update contains a change to how Powers work. This change is to reduce the effectiveness of stacking too many Powers onto one Hero, but also introduces more flexibility and makes early Powers a bit easier to hold onto.
- Increased Power limit to 4 per Hero.
- Increased Power Resilience for all Powers.
- When a character takes damage, ALL active Power cards take damage, rather than just the oldest.
Card Changes
- Alertness+ - Updated effect to, ‘Draw 3 cards. Shuffle 1 card from hand back into your deck.’
- Sprint+ - Updated effect to, ‘Move 5 then draw 2 cards. Shuffle 1 card from hand back into your deck.’
