Hello everyone! We have updated to Ver. 1.14!
This update introduces a range of new features designed to significantly enhance both the quality of your game and the comfort of your development experience, starting with the highly requested support for multiple fonts in-game.
We’ve also made the editor’s text data publicly accessible, allowing users to localize the editor themselves—an important step toward broader language support.
Now, let’s take a look at the new features!
Main Features Added and Improved in Ver. 1.14
Significantly Enhanced Visual Expression: Multiple Font Support In-Game
Ever wanted to use different fonts for dialogue text and UI elements, or change the tone of just part of a message? Now you can!
By choosing fonts that perfectly match each scene, your game’s visual presentation can become more compelling than you ever imagined.
You can import and use your own fonts in .ttf or .otf format. We encourage you to take full advantage of this feature!
(Please be sure to check the license terms of any fonts you use.)
Localization Mod Support
We have released a Language Pack containing the necessary files to localize the Bakin editor.
By translating the provided files and placing them in a designated folder, users can localize the tool itself into their preferred language.
(Please note that the distribution of localization files is subject to the RPG Developer Bakin End User License Agreement (EULA).)
Even Greater Possibilities with C#: Bind Multiple C# Scripts to a Single Event
It is now possible to bind multiple C# scripts to a single event, making it easier to build more complex processes and improve script reusability.
Additionally, the method selection dialog used during binding has been redesigned for better usability.
Movement speeds for players and events can now be finely adjusted as a percentage relative to a base speed, enabling more precise and flexible scene direction.
We have also improved the responsiveness of the debug window during test play, resulting in a smoother development experience overall.
In addition to these, Version 1.14 includes numerous other feature additions and improvements.
