Hello! Today's 30XX 0.26 patch adds a few new supporting Augs for Repros, adds an upgrade to Salvager Circuit that lets you Salvage Choice Machines (note: there's a Rank 2 for Salvager Circuit in the Memory Index now!), and more!
NB: As of this patch, Salvager Circuit has a Rank 2 upgrade available in the Memory Index shop. We've probably got some messaging work to do later on to make it more obvious when an upgrade is available for purchase.
Thanks for playing!
GAME CHANGES & FIXES:
- Choice Machines (rewarded after minibosses, Glory Zones, and Contemplation Rooms) are now Salvageable. You'll need Salvager Circuit's Rank 2 upgrade in the Memory Index to do this.
- Added 3 new Augs that support Repros!
- Updated a few aspects of Hoot Omega's battle:
- Hoot now flees across the map at different health percentages, leading to a shorter battle when you arrive at the end (instead of getting there at 30-40% HP).
- Hoot also summons a giant Rending Whirl behind him when he stops moving, preventing the player from getting by to the right and running past the boss. (This also forces the player to fight him from the left side.)
- Grandmaster now punches twice per button press.
- Added a new Clockzone background after the miniboss.
- With the Loadout Challenge Boon active, Contemplation Room/Glory Zone rewards are now replaced by more nuts (instead of more choices, changed from getting nothing last patch). We'll probably change these again a bit later so they reward a standard Choice Machine instead.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the player to be "crushed" by an upward-moving Dustria Crusher without actually getting pushed into the ceiling.
- Fixed an issue that could cause crashing after finishing a Glory Zone.
- Reworked the way Gold options in Glory Zones and Contemplation Rooms are chosen so they're consistent in Challenges.
- Fixed an issue that could cause duplicate Cores to both give you 25 nuts *and* add the duplicate to your inventory.
