Greetings Fellow, Arthropals!
That’s right, if you’ve decided to take the plunge into the surreal world of Metamorphosis, we welcome you to the colony of Arthropals. One of us! One of us!
We’re really glad that you’ve chosen to give Metamorphosis a try. Have you been enjoying your time exploring nooks and crannies and solving mysteries with 4 extra legs along to help? We’d love to hear your feedback, so please leave Metamorphosis a review on whichever platform you play it on.
If you’re a Steam Arthropal, we’ve got a patch for you! The patch consists of a few small changes that will help to optimize your gaming experience.
Here’s the full changelog:
- Fixed an issue with the Lawyer's body clipping with his robe
- Fixed an issue with the Lawyer not picking up the Skull if the wig is dirty
- Improved the volumetric lighting behind Leni
- Fixed the incorrect environmental shading behind Leni
- Added a Depth of Field toggle to the graphics settings (Due to the engine bug, the DOF effect won’t be available on RTX cards. All other cards will have DOF on by default what can cause a significant decrease in overall GPU performance – this is both for AMD cards and non-RTX Nvidia cards)
- Improved performance: unused sublevels in Tower are now kept in the memory
- Fixed a camera overview bug which triggered when a camera was used instantly after a level loaded up
- Going back from graphic defaults now only requires a single button press on the gamepad
Thank you for your descriptive reports. Please don’t stop providing us with your amazing feedback on Steam Discussions and Discord.
