Since there was a lot to do lately, and since it would make more sense to bundle all improvements into the next update, I took a break from the weekly updates schedule.
Now is the time to introduce the first batch of new features that will be introduced gradually in the next weeks.
This is update 0.9.0 Alpha for Wawa United. Here are the patch notes :
- New feature : Graffitis. You will now find some places in your adventures where you can leave an emote, or share the image you want.
All players playing this adventure will be able to see your graffiti, until another player replaces it with his own.
Putting graffitis costs 1 Paint Bucket.
- New feature : download pictures from web as emotes. You can now find a "Web" section in the Emotes interface.
It allows you to download a picture from one of the allowed shared pictures hosting services.
Just copy and paste the URL.
Limitations : 500KB max, .jpg or .png.
- Parcels will now be rewarded to players who earn enough Gems. These Parcels are from the biggest delivery services around the Edge.
Parcels are items you can use to decorate your lobby, or open to obtain a reward at random.
By "enough Gems" is meant : more than the average of total gems available in a given adventure (not counting double bonus).
Emmm... let's just say try to be roughly thorough in picking Gems, and you should be fine.
Parcels are destroyed once opened. Please recycle.
- New items have been introduced : Paint Bucket, and Fences.
- In lobby, when you are placing items, the item will be shown in either green or red if you are allowed to place it or not.
- A tower has appeared in the World Map. Something is coming...
Bug fixes :
- Rewards should now be dispatched correctly at the end of levels.
As a reminder, rewards are available when you :
1. Clear a level for the first time solo,
2. Clear a level for the first time multiplayer,
3. Win a level for a first time,
4. Win a level,
5. End a level after having collected ALL gems, with DOUBLE POINTS BONUS from beginning to end
6. And of course, a Parcel when you end a level with enough gems.
- Various minor fixes in levels.
- Various minor fixes in translation, the settings should now update the language correctly.
- Bugs fixed in home when piling up items
IMPORTANT :
- All previous versions of Wawa United will not be able to synchronize with the server anymore.
