Hey all - hope you're enjoying the game so far! The feedback for launch has been phenomenal, and I've been receiving lots of different questions that will hopefully be answered in this post.
Here's what's planned for first major patch for HYPERFIGHT, titled the Unlimited update!
Online multiplayer
The most requested feature by far! You'll be able to invite friends to your own private lobbies, or match with random opponents. Beta testing for this feature will occur once it's ready, so stay tuned.
New characters
The roster is quite small at the moment, don't you think? This update will bring the base roster up to a total of 8 characters. These characters will be free - however, please note that additional characters in the future may come in paid DLC packs.
Rebalanced characters and modes
Some characters will be receiving balance changes, and characters less fleshed out than others (like the Gotos) will be receiving new moves as well! AI balancing for Arcade Mode is also planned.
Expect some stylish new UI changes too!
These features will take some time, so please be patient! It's likely that these features will be rolled out in parts. I'll be showing off more of the new features in the coming weeks, but until then, keep on fighting!
