Hey survivors! Today we have taken a small step into the progression of Woodlands. We know an update has been long awaited, but today is the day!

We've implemented a new start menu including:
The current look of the menu in this update is just a placeholder. Although the main layout of the menu will stay the same throughout later updates, we do plan to replace graphics and music further down the road when it is more prioritized.
- ADDED A SAVE LOADER:
As stated in the main menu section, we have added a load save option. At the moment this feature is being used in testing until we can bring it to you properly. The save loader is functioning, and we are currently working on allow saves so you can properly use the function. This is a huge feature that is needed in a game as such, and therefore we are prioritizing the save option and are going to work on it every update to improve its state as development continues.

Minor bug fixes & optimization
Yes, we've read your comments! We know a save system is something a lot of players want, and we are completely on board! As you can probably tell with the new update, we have created a load system to load up any available saves. This feature does work, however cannot currently be used outside of the developer build as we are still perfecting the save system itself, but just so you are aware, the save system is almost here! We know it's been a long wait, but fortunately that wait is almost over!
We know this is only a small step towards the progression and development state we wish to get to with Woodlands, but we think its definitely a small step in the right direction, and hope you can agree. From now on, we are going to show our community that we wish to further the progress of Woodlands through new content and updates, rather than empty announcements and words.

Since the release of Woodlands, many people - including press, YouTubers, etc - have been sending us emails regarding keys, requesting for Steam keys in return for promoting. Our response: The best way to go about retreiving a copy of Woodlands is to purchase it on the Steam stor
Since the release of Woodlands, many people - including press, YouTubers, etc - have been sending us emails regarding keys, requesting for Steam keys in return for promoting.
Our response: The best way to go about retreiving a copy of Woodlands is to purchase it on the Steam store page. Some exceptions will be made to youtubers, streamers, etc.. this will depend on how big of a following you have.
If you wish to buy a bulk/ bundle of keys for the game, you can send us an email and we can (depending on how many) perhaps give a discounted price on the keys.
Hopefully people will understand that keys will not just be given out. We only feel the need to create this announcement as so many people request keys daily.
On a side note, an update will be coming soon, finally including a save/ load system!

The next update will be on its way this week which will involve a larger sized map. There are a few things we hope to get done in the following updates aswell:
• Be able to collect loot after you die, at the same place you died.
• Be able to refill water from a lake/ pond, or use an old fountain - Eventually we would like to add the option to boil that water using the fire, to allow a safer way of refreshing!
• Save and load (Priority at the moment) -
• Title screen
• Fix bug brought to us by a user of dying randomly.
