MCE Version 1.1.1 - October 9th, 2020

Adjustments:

Trinket #54’s 1st positive was granted a wish, and got 1 extra range
Fine tuned a few more Unique Trinket descriptions
Fixes:

Steam invites should be back in working order!
Trinket #27 and #29’s positives actually do something again!
Trinket #50’s second positive is longer shy about making a sound when it heals
Trinket #51’s second positive no longer works selectively in levels with Palshrooms, Skeletons, and Mad Squirrels
Trinket #55’s second positive has been taught to be a bit more thorough with its effect removal process
Enemies now properly only become able to take damage and conditions after they have completed their spawning process
Previously, some slimes refused to blink when destroyed, so they got lectured, and now they do!
The “Knock Knock!“ Accomplishment now has the correct icon
The “Mid Five!” Accomplishment no longer awards 2 Trinket slots. Those who got the extra one get to keep it though ;)
Pop-ups in the Trinket Forge no longer allow navigating outside the intended buttons

Heya! It's finally time for another patch! This time we have fixes for a couple of bad issues, along with some less pressing ones. Hopefully, more don't pop up, so that we can focus on... more interesting things.
MCE Version 1.00.3 - July 17th, 2019

Adjustments:

Trinket #52’s positive specials and first negative special now activate as a spell cast completes, not when being charged by Trinket #48’s second positive special
Fixes:

Addressed some save data corruption issues, hopefully minimizing their frequency
Controller analogue sticks now work again
Screen shake is also back in working condition
Screen whitening no longer persists when going back to the menu in the middle of it
Enemies that produce light can no longer leave them behind when defeated
Palshroom shots no longer go haywire when their shooter becomes dizzy
Thunderstorm joltings' lights are now properly vertically centered
Deep Freeze isn’t stopped by boxes anymore, and it also doesn’t go inside of them when used with Trinket #8
Trinket #27’s counter no longer counts down the whole time a spell is being charged by Trinket #48’s second positive special
Trinket #43's second positive special now activates from all bosses
Trinket #45's first negative displays its message again

Adjustments:

Lowered the damage penalty of some levels
Fixes:

Spells should no longer go through Palshrooms at random
Fixed a bug which made it so that Trinkets’ basic affixes weren’t sometimes applied in online co-op
Plain Trinket sell price now updates when moving the selection with the sub-menu open
Charmed enemies’ indirect attacks no longer hit other enemies every frame
Toxic Root no longer spawn an extra root at 0, 0 tile position for the client in online co-op
There should no longer be a chance to get poisoned by rogue, invisible poison clouds in levels that feature them
Uncharted Plateau is no longer under the impression that the level has 2 more enemies than it actually does, now showing the correct amount of enemies in the HUD

Howdy! We're here with our first post-launch MCE patch. It contains mostly fixes and small adjustments to the game. Nothing special, except a few little things to make your mushroom crushing experience more smooth.

MCE Version 1.00.1 - May 27th, 2019

Features:

There is now a button in the main menu that takes you to our Discord! Find people to play with or just come and have a chat with us!
Adjustments:

Adjusted rank score limits of some of a few later levels
Pressing cancel button no longer closes the equipment menu in co-op when browsing Spell or Trinket lists. Instead it closes the list
Fixes:

Toxic Root + Trinket #5 will no longer end the Spell’s channeling if the front root ends before the back root
Trinket #50 heal timer now resets every time player is no longer next to a destructible level element
Meteor Shower damage no longer resets its status/Trinket modifiers mid cast, so now Trinket #12, #42, and #48’s charge pack the intended punch
Trinket #46’s 2nd positive should now work more reliably
Equipment menu no longer resets to stats view when mouse is not hovering over an item
Fixed Lighting bug on Linux, that made water not illuminate properly
The Steam achievement "8-Ball" should now trigger properly

It’s been awhile since we last updated the Early Access version of the game and you’re probably wondering what we’ve been up to. Features

Enemy weakness damage is highlighted
Portions of the menu that are not in use, are darkened for clarity
Added a tips section in the beginning of levels to give useful pointers to players
There is a new Accomplishment for destroying Mycelium
New Trinket stat: Recon

Only used by Trinket #37 for the time being
Affects information provided by enemies, such as drops
Adjustments

Menu buttons animate more visibly
Level Select Menu now better indicates if you're missing some levels
Made spell demo entry animation three times faster in Equipment Menu
Players can no longer spam ingame chat with notifications

Notifications now replace the previous one unless certain amount of time has expired or there was a chat message in between
Added more sound effects to enemies' movements
Added some new UI sound effects

MCE Version 0.97.2 - June 1st, 2017

Adjustments:

Open and closed menu tabs are now color-coded
Slimes can now be frozen with Deep Freeze
Frozen slimes can then be destroyed with any Spell
Poison Gas vents now have a breaking animation
Fashroom bombs can trigger other Fashroom bombs
Descriptions of Trinkets with multi-line affixes have been made more readable by having the extra lines indented
Trinket #9's specials reworked
Many Trinket affix adjustments
Fixes:

Adjusted some winter levels to make it more difficult to get stuck because of melting ice
Fixed accomplishment rewards

Two different Accomplishments gave the same Trinket as reward
If you already have completed these Accomplishments, the rewards will be fixed for you next time you load your save
Destroyed Slimes are counted in Accomplishments again
Fixed Arvenshrooms getting stuck in some levels
Fixed an end-game Trinket bug specific to Spike Crush

MCE Version 0.97.0 - April 13th, 2017

Features:

Plain Trinkets

Enemies can now drop Plain Trinkets that have random stat values on them
These trinkets will only get positive stat values
Plain Trinkes quality improves as you progress further in the game
Maximum amount of Plain Trinkets that you can own is 100, but you can sell unwanted Plain Trinkets for 10 spores each
Plain Trinkets will only drop if all of your unlocked Unique Trinkets are collected
Adjustments:

Improved Equipment Menu

You can now quick-equip Spells and Trinkets by hovering over them and holding down casting keys
Removed Camera Zoom from Options menu. Instead, you can use E and Q keys
New Trinket stats affecting each of the 4 enemy resistances individually
Newly plugged in controllers are now detected in runtime
Fixed & updated many dictionary entries and some Trinket descriptions
Adjusted many Unique Trinkets
Added a flashing save indicator to indicate when the game is auto-saving

Aside from those, we added new stats to the Unique Trinkets (a.k.a the old-style Trinkets), some new level visuals and quick-equip function for Spells and Trinkets.

MCE Version 0.97.0 - April 13th, 2017

Features:

Plain Trinkets

Enemies can now drop Plain Trinkets that have random stat values on them
These trinkets will only get positive stat values
Plain Trinkes quality improves as you progress further in the game
Maximum amount of Plain Trinkets that you can own is 100, but you can sell unwanted Plain Trinkets for 10 spores each
Plain Trinkets will only drop if all of your unlocked Unique Trinkets are collected
Adjustments:

Improved Equipment Menu

You can now quick-equip Spells and Trinkets by hovering over them and holding down casting keys
Removed Camera Zoom from Options menu. Instead, you can use E and Q keys
New Trinket stats affecting each of the 4 enemy resistances individually
Newly plugged in controllers are now detected in runtime
Fixed & updated many dictionary entries and some Trinket descriptions
Adjusted many Unique Trinkets
Added a flashing save indicator to indicate when the game is auto-saving
Added on-screen tooltips for menu controls
Pavement tiles and wells breath new life into some of the levels
Adjusted the first 2 winter levels, making it more difficult to get yourself stuck
Nerfed Strishrooms a little bit
Fixes:

Improved performance of menus
Condition durations stat values are now calculated correctly
Combo bonus stat values are now calculated correctly

MCE Version 0.96.5 - February 16th, 2017

Features:

HUD Adjustment Menu

Customize the in-game HUD to suit yourself. The menu can be accessed from Options -> Graphics
Move and scale all HUD elements in the game
Toggle ON or OFF various HUD elements, by default some elements are toggled OFF
Change the orientation of values on all HUD elements, for example: changing of collected Spores are shown above, below, left or right from the Spore icon
Anchoring HUD elements

All HUD elements are tied to a specific point on your screen, always staying at a certain distance from that point
You can anchor elements to any corner or side of the screen or even in the center
If the game’s aspect ratio changes due to different resolution settings, all of your HUD elements will follow their anchors

Adjustments

Online Player Health Bar - shows your Co-op partner’s health
Resistances HUD element - shows your current elemental resistances
Movement Speed HUD element - shows current movement speed
Spell Stats HUD element - that shows your Spells’ damage and cooldowns
Vertical Condition Icons HUD element - works like the regular Condition Icons HUD element, but elements are aligned vertically
Added a new basic Trinket stat: post-hit invincibility time

Affects the time Zenon spends invulnerable after getting hit
As a result, Trinket #2's negative special was replaced with this stat
A couple of other Trinkets also get some of their stats replaced with it
Added a couple of new Dictionary entries
Every enemy type now has its own height, so some Spells now miss short targets on lower levels, but hit taller ones
Spore counter font is displayed in yellow color when all spores in the level have been collected
Enemy counter font is displayed in yellow color, when all enemies have been defeated in a combo
ThunderStorm no longer deals extra damage to frozen enemies but still melts them
Trinket #25 now has a special effect
Improved responsiveness of enemy and player damage in Online Co-op for Client player
Some of the more common basic affixes among Trinkets were replaced with rarer ones
The first Trinket drop now unlocks a level earlier

Trinket unlocks in Level 4 instead of Level 5
If you have an existing save file, there is a chance you may be unable to get this trinket, due to this change
Fixes:

Improved the accuracy of all Trinket stats
You can no longer start a game with no Spells equipped
Fixed a bug where Jolting condition wouldn't stun enemies in offline mode
Mad Squirrel now prioritizes closer player or the player it can reach by rolling
Skeleton now prioritizes closest player that it can walk to
Fixed a bug where in Local Co-op, equipment menu would keep unequipped items marked as red
Skeleton behavior fixed when players are invisible
