Developer posts and news about this game.
I just moved from Early Access to Release. I won't keep working on this game. It's not selling at all. And I'm going to move on to another project. For the 4 people who bought it in Early Access: I'm sorry, and if you want a refund or a future Steam key for my upcoming project, p
I changed the "camera help." No more indication at the bottom of the world screen. Instead, I added 3 gifs in Settings, to show how keys +/=/-/arrows control camera.
NOW the camera zoom/unzoom is fixed ^^ phew
Camera zoom/unzoom didn't work properly. My bad. This was coded in Qwerty & not Unicode - so the right keys didn't work for the zoom/unzoom. This is fixed. Now pressing + (ou just =) will zoom. And - to unzoom.
Changed the path where we export screenshots. It used be buried in systems folders. Now it's in your Pictures folder, with a sub-folder Retro Meadow, and a sub-folder for each world.
Fixed sound settings: - if you muted some audio, when reloading the game, this audio wouldn't be mute. - the two dark waters had no sfx. This is now fixed.
Added Ana Laura dos Passos to the credits. She's the artist who made all the Steam art - capsules + title logos.
Remove vision button in bottom-left. This was here before to take clean screenshots. But it's useless after I added the screenshot button. I saw a streamer getting confused with it & leaving the game after the UI disappeared. So it's just best to remove it.
The key '+' is camera zoom. You don't need to press 'Shift' to use it. But I forgot to add the case where you actually press '+' (and not '=') with 'Shift.' This first patch fixes it. Now, the camera zoom works when you press 'Shift' too.
Howdy, I'm releasing Retro Meadow in Early Access today. I've been working solo on this game, but most of the art was made by Zaebucca on itch. In Retro Meadow, you can create infinite pixel-art worlds/maps. There are 5 layers: ground, structure (barriers, ...), building (houses,
