Hub/New Day buttons:
This patch aims to fix a strange situation in which the Hub/New Day buttons didn't work properly, only while using controller. We weren't able to reproduce this bug, so we changed the implementation of the buttons to use hotkeys, which simplifies the logic behind what each button does and how they interact with each other.
We've removed the toggle state between those two buttons and assign them to specific controller buttons, since this was also requested by a number of players.
Xbox Y/PS Triangle: Hub Xbox X/PS Square: New Day (to maintain the same button used in the Hub to start a new day)
Please let us know if after this update the situation still occurs.
Aim attacks using mouse:
Some players expressed interest in having more control over how they aimed the attacks, so we implemented a setting that allows you to walk using WASD/Arrows while aiming with the mouse cursor. Let us know if you have any feedback regarding this new feature!
This option isn't compatible with the Move with Mouse option, so only one of them can be selected at the same time.
Full Patch Notes:
Replaces toggle state for Hub/New Day buttons with shortcuts for controller players to avoid the situation in which those buttons did the wrong thing.
Added the option to aim attacks using the mouse cursor for players who want more control
Added a small label in the Objectives tab telling players if they have redeemable skins, as some players didn't notice and finished the game without seeing them.
Added the Pinned Upgrade to the Daily Report so players have more information to decide whether they want to return to the Hub or do a New Day

This patch aims to fix a rare bug in which players clear all the rooms in a Prestige for the first time, and depending on the time left it may not trigger the condition to award the Void Coin (the purple currency you get at the end of an area). This causes some players to not have the necessary requirements to complete the talent tree, locking them out of the Chief Piñata Popper achievement.
In this fix, we have also implemented a check when opening the Hub that checks if "future" areas have been unlocked, but the Void Coin from the previous area wasn't awarded, and then awards the Void Coin instantly.
Thanks to this, players that had this issue will be able to just open the Hub in the new version (1.0.2) and the missing Void Coin will appear, letting you complete the talent tree.
Hope this helps, and if any other issues come up please let us know!
Full Patch Notes:
Fixes an issue in which players can clear all rooms for the first time and not receive a Void Coin (purple currency).
Adds support for controllers to scroll using right and left triggers, as well as d-pad up/down, in case some controllers can't scroll with the right joystick.
Adds back the hand cursor as it was removed in the last upgrade.

Several players asked for mouse-only controls, so we’ve added a feature where your character follows the mouse cursor. We’ve tested it internally and feel good about it, but we’d love to hear your feedback!
To turn it on, go to the Settings menu and check the Move with Mouse option. If you're playing with controller we recommend leaving this unchecked.
Full Patch notes:
Added the possibility to move the character using the mouse
Increased base volume slightly
Added a check to ensure game does not display the pause screen if the game is not paused
End Day session report can now be skipped with [Q] (it can still be skipped with Space or Left Mouse click)

Hey everyone!
We’re super excited to share that the demo for Piñata Go Boom is officially live on Steam!
In this short demo, you’ll:
Smash piñatas
Collect toys
Upgrade your stats & skills
What you can expect from the demo content:
This demo features the first of 8 planned Prestige Areas included in the full game.
Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour of gameplay.
The talent tree upgrades available in the demo represent just a small portion of the full progression system you'll experience in the complete game.
Progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full game, as we anticipate some changes and balance adjustments.
It’s a small experience for now, but we hope it gives you a taste of what’s to come.
If you enjoy it, please consider leaving a short review on the demo page as it really helps visibility and means a lot to us as a tiny indie team!
And if you have thoughts, feedback, or run into bugs, you can drop a comment in the community hub or join our Discord.
Thanks for your support and we really hope you enjoy the demo!
