Tool Patch
Patch details Today's patch contains fixes for two bugs related to tools no longer working. Most notably, the glove would no longer highlight and picks items up. There were similar issues with the fertilizer and watering can, but the bug reports came in regarding the glove. These

Today's patch contains fixes for two bugs related to tools no longer working. Most notably, the glove would no longer highlight and picks items up. There were similar issues with the fertilizer and watering can, but the bug reports came in regarding the glove.
These bugs are triggered by either:
Clicking a tool on the bottom bar (Glove, Fertilizer, Watering Can) while there is a window (like the Storage view, or Item Detail) showing.
Clicking on the go-to-street button while holding a tool (like the glove).
These bugs put the tools into a wonky state so that they thought they were disabled. Reloading the game would fix the issue.
Fix version
These are fixed in version 260813.11

These bugs were reported both in Plant Therapy's Steam discussions and on our Discord server. Without your quick posts these would have lingered on in obscurity for who knows how long. Your feedback and support are awesome!

Fix clock placement in legacy-ui mode
Version: `260809.08` This tiny release addresses one item. The game clock was mis-aligned to the bottom of the play screen when using the old-style Plant Therapy UI. Thanks to one of our Discord members for bringing this to our attention!

Jimothy Plushie Alert!
Dear Plant Parents, The world's most famous raccoon is now a plushie in Plant Therapy! He's just too cute to pass by! Bonus: If you are a member of the Short Leg Studio Discord, we now have a Jimothy emoji for all to use. ADJUSTMENTS and FIXES: We've also bundled in a few fixes.

ADJUSTMENTS and FIXES:
We've also bundled in a few fixes.
A few plants, like the Rattlesnake Plant, disappeared from the Journal.
The Owned/Unowned pot filter of the journal was broken.
One of the hats, Hat 21, from the last release was in the journal, but not properly appearing in the game.
REMINDER: If the game update isn't showing up, right click on the Steam icon in your tool bar and select 'Exit Steam'. When you relaunch Steam, it should show up!

Our Summer Update is here: Plushies now can wear hats! Just a bit of silly fun for summer. Collect all 33 hats and mix and match for accessory madness. Find hats at the Plushie Kiosk. This update is for the base game, no DLCs required!
Hat inventory can be found in the journal at the end of the Plushie section.
Adjustments
Many of you have asked, and now we have added OWNED and NOT OWNED buttons to the right of the filter field on the top of the journal.
Added fast forward and rewind buttons to journal. Now you can jump to the end or jump to the front of the journal for easier access.
We now have a link to our FAQ page in settings. There's been some confusion on how to get the terrariums and how to use the storage units. Hopefully this helps!
Limited magical butterflies to 15. Be sure to click on them to collect coins and then more will pay a visit!

Apartment day count fix

Bot Update

This is a bot-centric update that fixes a few issues:
I-Robot Achievement -- This achievement is unlocked when a bot is purchased. We failed to tie the newly added bots as triggers of achievement completion. We've added all the game bots and the achievement will unlock when purchasing any of them.
Bot pricing -- Bots increase in price with each purchase. The price curve of subsequent bots has been flattened a bit.
Bots in Storage -- The last update allowed you to pick up and place bots around your apartment. They could not be placed into storage units. This has been fixed. You can place bots into storage and transfer them to other apartments like anything else.

WINTER UPDATE
We have 31 new items spread out between the base game and the DLCs. Scroll for images of all new items.
NEW SAVE SLOTS
We were naive in thinking only three save slots were needed for our creative bunch of players. NO! You said. We need different save slots for different themed apartments! We are sorry it took so long. Here are FIVE new save slots for you to stuff and curate with all of your favorite Plant Therapy goodies.
PLUSHY TAB
Welcome the new PLUSHY tab to the journal! The journal has become a bit of a slog to get through the items. This new tab will take the Plushies out of furniture, where they probably shouldn't have been in the first place and makes them easier to find.
MORE BOTS
Another frequent request was more BOTS! We have added some different skins for the bots and you can buy as many as you want now. You can also sell them. Have fun!
Much work has also been done so bots aren't tripping over one another as frequently.
UPCOMING / NEWS
We've added an upcoming section on the main play screen. Now you can easily see what Short Leg Studio is up to!
FIXES / ADJUSTMENTS
Journal now supports mouse wheel for turning pages. Hallelujah!
Snowy weather for the month of December.
Journal also includes a new filter so you can search for items by name or size.
Pot switching interface now allows filtering by size! A lot of you have been asking for that.
Updated Winter Cart and made sure the snowman isn't blocking it.
Fixed a layering issue with the wood fire stove top plate.
Fixed the missing Beaded Glass Chandelier journal image.
Coins were falling through the floors in Park Place. OOPS--all fixed now.
Fixed a rare bug that prevented stores from being populating with inventory. (Shout out to the patient player that reported this and shared their save files!)

ADJUSTMENTS
There were too many large pots were showing up in the plant shops and not enough medium pots. There is now a better balance.
The flamingo pot could be placed like a hanging pot. This was too silly to keep.
Some improvements were made around working with save slots in order to help diagnose some bugs brought to our attention.

FIXES
Apartments that support 2 wallpapers (all of the Park Place apartments) - the 2nd wall would not correctly restore its wallpaper when it was set to the same wallpaper as the 1st wall.
Apartments that support 2 wallpapers (all of the Park Place apartments) - some murals would partially show on the 2nd wallpaper wall.
Mystery box - opening the mystery reportedly would cause a game crash - adjusted the mystery box packaging to ensure that the plant to deliver was accurately packaged and delivered. This also means that some plants that were errantly delivered (some of the rose bushes) are no longer available within the box.
Could not selected items visible, but behind the new "Funky" - adjusted the shelf so it doesn't obscure the items behind it.

We're celebrating two years on Steam this week with a new feature that let's you change where the tools are as well as a bunch of new seasonal items. Keep reading for all the details.
NEW ITEMS/SEASONAL UPDATE
Plant Therapy is celebrating two years on Steam with a trove of new items!! It's our birthday, it's fall, and our favorite holiday, Halloween, is coming soon so we have a lot of goodies for all of you.
New Feature alert! Optional Bottom of the Screen Tools: Many of you have asked to get rid of the tool stand to allow for more space in the apartments. Your wish is granted! This is now the default setting. If you like the old tool stand, adjust on the Settings screen. Everything can still be accessed with shortcut keys.
Seasonal Items: We have over 25 new items across the base game and DLCs.
ADJUSTMENTS
Item rotation with mouse wheel. If you are holding an item, use the mouse wheel to flip it's orientation for placing!
Fixed the Red Parrot Mobile asset.
Fixed a missing hanging snowflake asset.
Rotating Graffiti on the street. Instead of a static image on each street, now enjoy a rotation of street murals.
We've updated some of the last old furniture assets from our demo and the Cat DLC (I'm looking at you, basic shelves and side tables) and now the artwork is more cohesive with the rest of the look of the game.
Thank you for all the love you have shown us since release. You are the peanut butter to our jelly, the moon and stars to our sun!

We've gotten great feedback lately and wanted to get a fix out for some of the reported rough spots. This update contains the following:
Fixes & Adjustments
Storage unit not working - the storage unit stopped showing its contents for some players. This happened if you had purchased a particular wallpaper. Storage is working again.
Storage unit item count too small - we noticed that the quantity displayed in the storage unit interface was overly small. We've bumped up its size to make it more readable. Note: the quantity is only displayed when you have more than 1 of an item in storage.
DirectX 11 - A mysterious crash has been affecting some players. We believe this may be due to using DirectX 12. We've made an update. The game will only use DirectX 11. We've been unable to reproduce this crash ourselves. Hopefully this clears things up for those players.
Negative days - Some players were reporting that they were seeing big negative numbers on the apartment choice screen (like Day -1255389). This was also showing up on the clock in the apartment. This has been corrected.
Biggie Meow - We discovered that Biggie Meow wasn't showing up in the street plushie kiosk. We've made an update. Biggie will now appear along with all of their buddies.
