Previously patched issue (v1.0.6.2) that caused seats to become unavailable during the tutorial should now be fixed automatically, without requiring a save file reset.

I love Astronook! I played the demo, and although I've only had time to catch up with the demo content and map out a few more constellations (releasing a game is a lot of work!), I want to play the whole thing! The tutorial order now is consumed faster so that players that don't want to decorate don't have to wait too long.
When moving a seat, the table indicator now lights up green if it’s correctly attached to a table and red if it’s not.

I noticed that some of you have started using Nom Nom’s avatar, and I wanted to do something fun to celebrate - so I’ve added new avatars for each customer!

I also want to give a huge thank-you to everyone who’s been active in the community and helping by reporting bugs. You’ve all been incredibly patient, and I’m working as fast as I can to provide support and keep the game running smoothly. The game has PASSED all of the compatibility tests!
On another note, I am currently working on fixing a few bugs that have been reported. Please be patient and keep in mind this is a single-person development. While some things may take some more time than others, I am actively working to fix them.

This is the most exciting community announcement so far! I can't believe it!
I know it's been a long time, and know I DEEPLY appreciate the wait. You've been so supportive through this entire journey. It does not go unnoticed.
Nom Nom: Cozy Forest Café is my first, solo, full game. I had participated in a couple game jams prior to this, but I did not expect the amount of learning I had to do to be, at least, proud of my game.
When I look back at the previous demos I had published, it's hard not to get emotional. I can't believe the amount of support I got from those earlier versions. I feel like you've held my hand for these almost three years. I have to admit, I've felt shame sometimes. When I first announced the game, I planned to finish in less than a year. As time went on, I kept learning, and felt like the quality of the earlier work had become somehow unnacceptable. I am now proud to say this is my game.
There's still a lot of learning to do. I hope to be able to do this for a living. Continue to learn. Be a better developer. Give you better games. Content. Everything! The future is exciting. So exciting, I even made myself a little splash animation!
Thank you for being there. I hope I can be here for a long time too.

Hi everyone! 🎉 I just wanted to quickly jump on here to share with you all that Steam has approved the build of the game! Which means... The game will be released soon!
This took longer than expected since it's my first game and I did not know exactly what to expect from the review. I had to fix a couple things that Steam required and resubmit the build, but it was approved after the second attempt!
Now that it's approved, I want to be transparent with you about what's left now, so you know what to expect:
I'm wrapping up a couple of things on the game, while also testing and polishing.
As a general rule, it's recommended to avoid releasing during the winter/christmas sale (the store becomes saturated with the event and new games barely get pushed). So expect the release to be (soon) after that. I will use that time to continue testing and fixing bugs.
I'll release a new & updated release trailer, with the final release date as soon as everything is confirmed!
In the meantime, you can go and play the latest (and last!) DEMO of the game, which now has its own standalone page. This is an updated demo that you can replay as many times as you want, and be creative with a selection of customization options, customers and food items! (Progression is locked in the demo and save data will not transfer to the final game, so just go and have fun!). You can also leave a review now!

It's been a while... But I have exciting news! You can now play an updated DEMO!
The game is right now part of Steam's Animal Fest!
The last demo was released last year, and a lot has changed. There's improved performance, graphics, controls, and a few reworked systems which led to reworking most furniture items.
The updated version is now live! You can go play it and leave a nice review on the standalone Demo page! (Be nice please I will read them)
The release date is near, very near. There's only a couple of things left to wrap up. I can't give a specific date yet because of external factors.
Anticipating some questions:
- What took you so long?
- Unfortunately, life. Mostly my mental health and dealing with a traumatic experience. Feeling better now!
- Where's x furniture item from the last demo version?
- The rework of the furniture system led to some furniture items being changed/removed. Some will come back at some point, while others have been discarded. If you have any requests... Tell me!
- Will the demo save data migrate to the final game?
- Nope! In the demo you are given access to items and features that you will need to unlock in the final game through game progression (disabled in the demo).
- Will there be more recipes/customers in the final game?
- Yes! 10 of each!

I've been working on controller support and some bug fixes for the current uploaded demo. This means there will be an update but content will not be added - instead, some interfaces and controls have been reworked.
Hopefully this fixes any issues you've encountered while trying the demo. I'll make an update announcement when it's up!
