Fixed a rare issue with the Revive ability that stopped players from Reviving more than once during the same mission.

IMPROVEMENTS

Changed the Loading screen (where the player controls are displayed) to allow the player to continue into the game manually; i.e. so they can look at the controls for as long as required.

We’re excited to release a new verision of the UMPB demo for the 2024 Steam Next Fest event!
The new demo has the following improvements / changes:

Improved level 1 design, with new background and weather effects.
Improved level 1 boss design to make it more consistent with the overall look and feel of the game.
New basic attacks for ships / mechs that launches ‘drunken missiles’ as at Attack levels 4 and 5.
New trailing smoke animation for special missiles and drunken missiles.
New in-game player comms that will trigger when playing certain levels.
Improved UI / UX interaction when using KBM.
Improved UI colours when using either KBM or Controller.
Extended level 2 with additional rooms, enemies and pickups.
Removed the timer on health pickups in level 2 that made them disappear, giving the player more time to pick them up.
Various bug fixes.
Various other general improvements.
Importantly, this version of the demo contains the first 2 missions / levels of the game. All 8 missions will be available in the full release, coming Q1 2025.
