Enemies won't attack player during the dialog
Brown Rock in the mines can't be destroyed with the dynamite anymore

Q&A
Q: Are there going to be boats in the full version? A: Yes, you can see parts of the boat ride in previous trailers
Q: Is there anything else to do in the mines apart from mining for gems? A: Yes, mines will play a big role in the game and there will be so much more to find in there.
Q: I can't reach Meteor landing side, is that a bug? A: Yes and no. We lock the demo experience at some point which may prevent you from reaching that landing zone if you haven't reached it in time.
Q: Can I play co-op in the demo? A: No, the co-op mode is disabled in the demo but will be available in v1.0
Q: Can we continue playing with profile from the demo when 1.0 goes out? A: No, the game will change a lot until then and the old profiles won't be compatible.
Q: I found corrupted Water Spring, can we fix it in the demo? A: No, that is locked out from the demo experience.
Q: We have suggestions / idea, can we post them somewhere? A: Of course!! Feedback is more than welcome. You can talk with us on Apogee Discord (Vexland channel) or drop your feedback here on Steam forums.

We're back with another update! Hopefully, this one will solve most of the critical issues and make the demo even more enjoyable.
Some of you were asking about the gamepad support and if we're improving it - yes, we will change things a lot, but most likely not for this demo. We are a very small team, and we need to focus on the v1.0 release coming out later this year.

Minimap not showing anything in the mines
Various errors fixed in the mines that could cause undesired results
Fixed a corner case bug where Enemy Camps won't spawn - everyone should start seeing them spawn now (only one at the time can be active)

Various fixes and updates for invaders (getting stuck, damaging the looter will make it flee now, smoother navigation in general)
Enemies can walk through the Shop building
Standing on Mine's Elevator while exiting the game causes errors
Lighthouse gem socket's Gem appears under the player
UI tooltip not hiding when it should
Barrel in the collector's hut basement reappears when re-entering the house
Can cut trees through barricades in the enemy camp
You can walk through some barricades in one of the enemy camps
Lever appears over the player
Grass visual glitch

We would also like to thank you for all the bug reports, feedback, and help you offered us in catching them - we greatly appreciate it! Here's a list of things we fixed and updated since the new demo drop.
ːcupupː Updates
Chirping sounds added to the birds
Cloth price at the Store increased from 1 to 3 coins
Store Upgrade prices increased
Boar attack cooldown increased to avoid constant charging / they
Sheep will only attack after feeding it now (more food!)
Sheep & Pig won't hurt you on touch anymore (only on charge-hit)
Quick Deposit action added for chests (pressing space while targeting chest)

Hive Cells (big purple cells) stop spawning after loading the game after the Meteor crash
Bone Bar recipe drop not available
Copper Bar / Glass / Potion Bottle not available in the demo
Tracker item requirements are not updating if you're moving
Specific recipes disappearing from the crafting list or appearing wrong
Helper-related issues (eg, not returning to its base)
Attack of the Butterflies (more and more butterflies appearing over time, especially after game load)
Some objects are respawning in dungeons even when destroyed
Animals running through the fence
Pulling one lever in Dungeon 2 and exiting/dying locked that dungeon on re-entering because that lever got stuck and was not recognized as activated.
Portal in Diggle's Tent not working (it shouldn't be activated in the first place)
Dungeon Boss is not moving around
World effects not properly loading on game load (eg, sun rays not appearing)
Taking a gem out of any socket while having a full inventory, the gem is lost (eg, when taking the Gem out of the Lighthouse socket)
Treasure Spot pin on minimap is not accurate (treasure spot can move if it becomes inaccessible, but the icon stays)
Dying while being electrocuted by lightning will keep you in a forever-electrocuted loop

Welcome to the largest Vexlands demo update, showcasing over a year of progress and setting the stage for even bigger things in 2025. This quiet QA test is your chance to explore what’s new, from updated biome generation to exciting features like skill rewards, new dungeons, and weather effects.
Here’s a taste of what’s inside:

Skill System: Unlock rewards on the Skillboard with the help of Rewardo.
World Expansion: Explore a second dungeon, underground mines, and new biome generation.
Life Systems: Fish, set traps, tame animals, and collect bugs in a new unlockable area.
Customization: Merge gems and socket rings and choose from new hairstyles, hats, and bodies.
Crafting & Survival: Sand digging, glass crafting, and the all-new Atomizer to move buildings.
Journals & QoL: Dive into the bestiary, quest log and enjoy streamlined inventory sorting, shop interfaces, and more.
