This is bug fix and QOL patch to catch some of the bugs which slipped in lately.
Bug Fixes:

Fixed Hyper Medusyne misprint order
Fixed Stormy Teacup missing description
Hyper Howlder - Passive was missing value (now 5).
Crocoot - Updated Super description to match Passive description phrasing.
Laraca - Updated super to only target ally in front (not enemy)
NO TYPE - Passive description box now uses grey (instead of transparent)
Fixed Magic Orb causing candy items to not be removed
Stopped non mystic type Kadomon gaining the type synergy
Fixed Curse description
Fixed Eelements passive description
Stopped self damaging effects granting ENERGY

As always, thanks for all your feedback! I hope you've been enjoying our latest update. I've been working hard on the latest patch - here's what you can expect:

Updated under Kadomon health bar style.
New type icons to better match together.
Removed gaining energy on passively.
Kadomon now gain 10 Energy on preforming an attack.
Kadomon now gain 50% of the damage they take as Energy.
Adding settings toggle for turning off gain/lose status effect text in battles.
Stopped Eggits passive from summoning a duplicate Kadomon.
Fixed End of battle screen showing incorrect EXP values.
Fixed end of battle screen showing max EXP for post level 3 Kadomon.
Fixed wanted poster not showing its triggering cause.
More fixes and improvements will be coming soon. Thanks for all your support!

The Frosty Fables update is here!
This new content update introduces 2 new Kādomon to the game (and their evolutions!) as well as 2 new items and a boss. Let's take a look at what's new:
Say hello to Baskit and Hopsicle
It's time to update your Kādodex - I hope you like rabbits. Both Baskit (earth type) and Hopsicle (ice type) have 2 other evolutions and a hyper evolution - but I'll let you discover some of these!
(QUICK NOTE: These new Kādos need names in all the other languages. If you'd like to help out and offer a suggestion, join us on Discord to help us name them in your language!)
Battle with 2 new items
This new update features the Basket and Cape items, both with different functions to help boost your team, and maybe even hyper evolve them too!
There's a new boss in town...
Meet Brrrn (ice/earth) and his summon is Brrrittle (also ice/earth). These guys are ready and waiting for ruckus, so put your team to the test and battle against this new boss!
Alongside this new update, we've also released two more fixes and improvements:

This should fix the problems some of you were experiencing with new save data creation, along with a few other improvements. Thank you for your patience and support as we worked to address this!

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue causing save data to not be correctly initialized when starting a new game, which was leading to an infinite loading loop.
Resolved a softlock caused by opening the tutorial directly from the main menu.
Forced Ace to be the playable character in the tutorial, ensuring that tutorial prompts refer to the correct Kādomon.

Developer Update: New Save Data Bug + Temporary Workarounds
Hello, Kādomon Keepers! We’re currently aware of a bug affecting the creation of new save data files in Kādomon. We apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing. Rest assured, our team is working hard on a hotfix, which will be out as soon as possible to resolve this issue

We’re currently aware of a bug affecting the creation of new save data files in Kādomon.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing. Rest assured, our team is working hard on a hotfix, which will be out as soon as possible to resolve this issue.
In the meantime, we have a couple of workarounds to help you get started:
Workaround 1 (Easiest):

Switch to the experimental branch.
Launch the game to create a save file.
Switch back to the default branch.
This should generate the necessary save data and allow you to continue playing on the default branch.
Workaround 2:

Download the blank save file provided HERE.
Place the blank save file into this folder: C:\Users[YOURUSERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Dino Rocket\Kadomon Hyper Auto Battlers\Saves
Launch the game.
This should bypass the issue and let you start your adventure.
We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this! Stay tuned for updates, and we’ll keep you posted as soon as the hotfix goes live.

A Heartfelt Message from The Developer

Before diving into the update details, we want to address the recent quiet period. Development has been moving forward behind the scenes, but we understand it may have felt a bit disconnected. Here’s a heartfelt message from our developer, sharing a bit about what’s been going on and the next steps for Kādomon:
Hello, Kādomon community! Thank you for sticking with us! We know it’s been a bit quiet recently, and I wanted to share why. After the initial release and some minor updates, I took a short break to recharge and handle a few personal things. Since then, I’ve been diving deep into all the feedback we received, and it’s clear there are some design challenges that need to be addressed. These aren’t simple, quick fixes, so I’ve been hard at work on a major update to improve gameplay clarity and overall experience. Working as a solo developer on design and coding has its own set of challenges, and I’ve gone through several iterations to find the best way forward. While the new version was taking shape, it became clear that it would still take more time to re-implement everything, so I’ve decided to bring updates to the current game step-by-step, incorporating the improvements and ideas I’ve developed over the last few months. This means you’ll start seeing more frequent updates, each one bringing something new to enhance your experience. Our first update in this new approach introduces Keepers (humans) to the game! Plus, you’ll encounter two new map bosses in your adventures. While this update doesn’t capture all of the recent development efforts, it’s a step toward faster, more consistent content updates. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping bring Kādomon to life with your feedback and support. We’re excited for what’s to come! Thanks, Pat
Roadmap Update & Community Involvement

As we continue developing Kādomon, we wanted to let you know that the existing roadmap is now outdated and has been retired. At this time, we don’t have plans to release a new one, but we’re excited to bring you some updates over the next month. After that, we’ll likely begin using a community vote system to help decide which new features you want to see next, giving you an active voice in shaping the future of Kādomon.
Just to be clear, ALL of the content we outlaid on the original roadmap is still coming before we reach 1.0, and some of it is coming way sooner than we initially planned.
Localization Updates

Localization is key to making Kādomon enjoyable for all, and we’re shifting our approach to make this process smoother. With so much text, we don’t want translations to delay content updates. Moving forward, if any in-game text isn’t finalized in a particular language, you’ll see a disclaimer in the game to keep you aware. Rest assured, we’ll be putting out hotfixes to finalize these translations as soon as possible. (Today’s update, however, is fully localized!)
Patch Notes 0.5.0 – October Update
General Gameplay Adjustments:

New Run Setup Screen – We've added a brand-new setup screen to give you more control over your runs!
Kadomon Keepers (Human Avatars) – You can now choose a human avatar, or Kadomon Keeper, for your run! Each Keeper comes with unique starter selections and relics to enhance your gameplay experience.
New Region End Bosses – Two additional end bosses, Synistar and Serraskull, have been added to the lineup.
Varied End Bosses – Regional end bosses are no longer fixed and will now vary on a per-run basis for added challenge and excitement.
Bug Fixes:

Fixed an issue causing "NONE" to be incorrectly displayed before certain Passive and Super Abilities.
Reduced game file size by approximately 1GB for smoother downloads and updates.
