Voidpedia - fixed the Evolution Details screen displaying the wrong Size Gene.
Fixed enemies dropping their loot twice when executed by a perk.
Fixed losing control of your creature when the Impending Doom perk triggered.
Fixed skill's VFX rendering issue on Intel integrated graphics (e.g. Kerapin defensive shield).
Fixed gamepad input being slowed down along with slow-motion effects.
Fixed being able to reach the result screen when completing an activity in the Abyss.
Fixed several Abyss issues: enemies spawning under the ship, cleansers appearing outside the combat dome, an egg stuck in the ground, and corridors no longer showing up past Abyss level 30.
Changes & Improvements
Default keybindings now follow your OS keyboard layout (AZERTY, QWERTZ, Dvorak and others). Any key you rebound yourself is preserved.
Off-Element damage will now still scale with elemental power at 25% effectiveness instead of 0%, making single element essence builds more viable in the Abyss.
Safe zones in Abyss weather modifiers now have a maximum lifetime to force a respawn to a better location when unused. They can also no longer spawn outside the storm during a boss fight.
Tweaked kill zone in *Storm Breaker* to allow backtracking in the boss arena when using the rail.
Reduced rendering cost of catalyzer at all settings, added specific optimizations for low settings.
The controller deadzone can now be lowered all the way down to 0% (was 5% minimum).
Reduced memory usage across many levels.

Potential fix for crashes while loading missions on Intel Iris Xe GPUs (especially Subterranean Expedition).
Potential fix for crashes on startup on devices with an NPU.
Potential fix for bosses being one-shot as they spawn, which could break Abyss runs.
Fixed multiple "on damage" perks blocking each other.
Fixed a bug that allowed Morfang to reload after interrupting its primary attack with the reload key.
Fixed Ursek stance switch interaction with the Decaying Matter perk that would result in a loss of power, armor or speed stacks.
Fixed Ursek shield charge armor upgrade that wasn't properly granting armor.
Fixed Anami homing projectile location against the Ancient Warden boss.
Improved teleporting enemy checks to prevent them leaving combat areas or going behind objects they shouldn't, fixing a large variety of flow breakers.
Sealed several spots where players could fall under the map, land in a damaging puddle, or get launched into the sky.
Adjusted Abyss boss arena out-of-bounds zones to prevent bosses from staying stuck outside the play area.
Fixed an overlapping cleansing area in an Abyss level that led to Cleansing bar issues.
The "Reach 50 Abyss depth with a Species" Voidpedia counter now updates correctly (existing progress on this needs to be re-earned. Sorry!).
Changes & Improvements
Bosses can now take damage once they're out of the ground during their spawn attack, and now appear twice as fast in the Abyss when emerging to keep better pacing.
Abyss enemies now have health scaling like in other activities.
Implemented a slow scaling of enemy damage at much deeper depths to keep danger in very deep runs. Enemy damage resist now caps at 50% instead of 80% to limit situations where players deal 1 damage per attack.
Implemented health growth on enemies so players can see their damage properly applied instead of only seeing "1" damage values.
Abyss elite balance: clamped their spawn rate at high Abyss levels, lowered their armor and increased their health, and reduced their healing on bosses and other elites.
Removed the Ascending elite modifier. We may revisit it, but it was currently creating confusion.
Ascended Landscaper health increased from 100 to 250.
Together Strong's cap of 5 stacks has been removed and now properly scales with the full number of minions nearby.
Frenzied perk post-application duration increased from 0.2 to 0.35 to improve effectiveness with slow fire rate, short duration abilities.
Buffed Massive Effect Catalyzer status effect damage multiplier from 100% to 250% to bring it more in line with other Corrupted Catalyzers.
Tweaked some encounter despawn distances to allow long range builds more possibilities in maps where they were short.
You can now splice creatures with a Neutral Element.
Reduced stutters and improved performance across the Abyss and many missions.

Fixed cooldown reduction stacking that could leave you unable to cast abilities.
Mortar enemies no longer hit you twice with a single attack.
Defeated enemies no longer pop out of the ground or spawn attacks after dying.
Fixed enemies getting stuck in End to the Unknown and blocking progression.
Lesion Overlord's health bar now splits correctly in the Abyss.
Gwigoon can no longer push bosses out of the arena.
Gilick's melee upgrade now properly counts toward its melee damage.
The Deep Breath Catalyzer now lowers reload speed while boosting stamina.
Fixed the Cyber mutagen rift handing out the wrong amount of mutagens.
Fixed Abyss level-reached achievements not unlocking in the Voidpedia.
Sealed several spots where players could fall under the map, get stuck, or lose health.
Fixed various VFX glitches, including particles stuck in the ship and camera clipping.
Changes & Improvements
Reduced stutters and VFX popping in and out across many levels.
Abyss enemies now hit a little harder early on but scale down at extreme depths.
Reduced enemy damage sponginess by capping the penalty at a 20-level difference.
Red portals are now always available and their minimum jump range changed from 3 to 5.
The Relentless Affliction Catalyzer now also grants an Elemental Damage Bonus.
Fixed various text and spelling issues, and renamed some Catalyzers.
Abyss
For this patch, we wanted to act quickly on some of the more frustrating elements of the Abyss.
Our immediate focus was making it faster for you to get to the fun parts, as well as tuning down the infinite scaling of enemy damage resistance to make deep progression both possible and rewarding.
While we are planning wider changes to the game mode, we hope these quick quality-of-life adjustments improve your experience while we work on larger scale changes!

It’s already been a week since launch and wow! What a pleasure it’s been to see so many players play our game! It’s been an incredible moment for the team and we want to say thank you to everyone who’s played or taken the time to give your impressions on the game.
Needless to say we’ve also been looking through all of your feedbacks during the week! If we’re honest, the amount is overwhelming (in a good sense!) and caught us a little by surprise! Again, this is very positive and we’re thrilled that the game is getting this amount of support.
Which leads us to :
ROADMAP!
While we are not ready to share specific timeline on the following items, many players want to know what's coming up! Today we want to share with you our current development priorities.
STABILIZATION
Our main focus is to deliver a stable experience that players can enjoy without issues. Fixing crashes, bugs, and improving overall performance is on top of the list.
ABYSS IMPROVEMENTS
Feedback heard! We’re looking at ways to improve the overall experience and alleviate pain points (no checkpoints is an example that comes up a lot)., we want the Abyss offer a fun experience for you to put your spliced creatures to the test!
QUALITY OF LIFE UPDATES
This is where we want to tackle many requested improvements to improve the overall experience of the game, such as Mass Hatching and Release to name a few.
FUTURE CONTENT
We know you want more Voidling Bound and we also want to make more! You can expect new Voidlings, levels, and additional gameplay content to expand the experience down the road.
CONSOLES
Many players are patiently waiting for Voidling Bound to come to console! We’re actively working on this in parallel with our upcoming updates!
Some of these features will take time to implement and we want to do things the right way. While we want to get you these improvement as fast as possible, some might come in faster than others. Rest assured that given the successful reception of the game we want to support it and keep improving the experience!
We hope this will answer your most pressing questions regarding the future of Voidling Bound!

Fixed a crash that could occur during enemy updates in combat.
Fixed missing collision near the breeding room in the Hub - it was possible to slip behind it into an unintended area.
Fixed a crash due to preshadow caching.
Breeding station egg-quantity upgrades now correctly give a flat increase of one egg per upgrade level, from 1 up to 3 eggs.
Fixed Gwigoon minions that would catapult enemies and bosses outside the play area.
Fixed Gwigoon primary ability empowered upgrades.
Decaying Matter scale is now properly applied only when the activity is started.
Abyss - Fixed Phasing Elite that would reset bosses spawn phase.
Abyss - Fixed red portals not appearing red on the first layer of the Abyss.
Abyss - Fixed being able to extract from the Abyss without taking a portal.
Changes & Improvements
Reduced video memory usage, which should help on graphics cards with less VRAM.
Stability improvements during Subterranean Expedition loading.
Abyss - Change Phasing Elite to teleport once every 5 second when no ability is active rather then twice quickly every 6 seconds.
Some of you may still experience crashes during Subterranean Expedition loading especially on systems with an integrated GPU.
We are actively working on further fixes to address that.
Also the game is now available on cloud gaming services like GeForce Now. :)

If you've already gone through the content, or if you'd simply like to test the new content, consider this option!
The game now support multiple save files as well. No need to lose your save file to use them.

After seeing lots of speculations about a final playtest, we can confirm today that a new round of playtest is indeed happening !
We will be closing the current playtest on April 10th as we're preparing for the next major update. If you've taken part in the previous rounds we want to thank you for your continued support and feedback.
This update will be significant and is aimed towards getting feedback on MOST OF THE GAME.
The playtest will last from April 17th to April 27th.
It will be divided in two phases:
1- On April 17th - Timed with the Earth Appreciation Festival:
Complete story of Vireo, Solum and Aulis as well as access to 8 playable creatures.
2- On April 23rd - As part of Another Upcoming Showcase:
Access to the end game mode, more details to be announced during the event!
If you try the playtest, rest assured that the game will still have surprises for you when it comes out.
Unique creatures, new species as well as the final boss encounter and greater challenges!

We need to remind everyone that the playtest is an experimental branch! You get access to a lot of content ahead of time, but you will lose your progress! No save game of any format carries through.

We’ve received alarming reports from Wranglers in the field. The Lesion has grown in strength!

What to expect if you dare face Wrangler Difficulty:
Smarter, more accurate opponents
Faster attack wind-ups, increased projectile speed, and enemy spawn rates
Increased enemy movement speed
Duplicating, Clustered and Carrier Sores split into additional copies.
Improved jumping animations
Beware: Swollen Hives are high-priority targets and must be cleansed on sight.

Sadly, this update will RESET YOUR PROGRESS and require you to START A NEW GAME. However, with this new update, you’ll get to experience significant improvements to our demo.

BitSummit 2025 is going live and so is our demo update!! Alongside the japanese localization, we are updating our demo with some new features and minor changes to the current build.
A huge thank you to our users who have helped us with this update! We hope to see you all try these changes and we are eager to meet new users!
PATCH NOTES

Stamina bar rework,
Melee Ability now has an ability icon in the Combat Hud,
Adjustments:
Changed Wrangler jump animation inside the ship,
Increased Wrangler walk speed,
Creature walk and run speed increased,
Increased Research Point Pick Up Radius,
Difficulty Balancing:
Adventurer has been made a bit more challenging than previously to make it a better in-between of Collector and Fighter,
Wrangler difficulty is even harder than before with fewer health sources available to players,
Enemies health pool rebalance to make stronger archetypes more important in combat,
Bug Fixes:
Fixed critical damage values - when the player assigned exactly 7 points of strength it lowered the value from 200% to 21% instead of increasing it to 210%,
Fixed crashes when leaving Activity due to undestroyed actors (Mirage Gilick's Minion),
Fixed Kwipeck's Fuming Zone remaining in levels.
Known Issues:
Loading an older Save Game may result in Vireo's mission appearing as incomplete, even if it was previously completed.
