BOKURA: planet is a two-player-only "Hidden Objective" puzzle adventure game where players work together through conversation to solve puzzles and continue their journey.
Unlike BOKURA, this time each player secretly holds a different objective, all while cooperating to progress through the stages.
Sometimes, you might even hinder each other or push your partner off a cliff… This game might not be all about cooperation after all.
We encourage you to play with a friend and experience a co-op gameplay you have never seen.

“BOKURA: planet” is a new “hidden-objective” co-op puzzle-adventure set on a different stage from the previous game. Like before, players must work together to solve puzzles and advance through stages. However, each player has their own separate objective they must keep secret from the other. Thanks to the new “Push” action, you can hinder your partner or even shove them off a ledge—injecting a sense of conflict and tension unlike any co-op game you’ve played before!

Like BOKURA, in this game 2 players try to communicate and cooperate with the other player on what they see to try solve puzzles in each stage.
But there is one crucial difference in this game, which lets you experience a new possibility in 2 player only co-op games.
In this game the action「push」has been added.
You can push your partner away, or even off a cliff.
Not only can you enjoy the cooperation with your partner, you can enjoy the grudge & intensity not seen much in other co-op games.
A little story time.
『BOKURA: planet』is based on an idea I had when planning for BOKURA.
At that time, I could have extended that idea away from BOKURA but due to balance and many other things, BOKURA happened.
I still believe in that decision, but I kept on thinking "How different it would have been and what would I be seeing."
That feeling caught up to me at last and created 『BOKURA: planet』
The view that I see now from this game is so different from what I expected, and I really want to share this view with you as soon as possible.
The game is now under development and I aim to release it at the beginning of 2025.

I am going to participate in The Steam Awards 2023 for the「MOST INNOVATIVE GAMEPLAY」catergory!
The development for 『Bokura』 probabaly started when I played a Murder Mystery game.
The players are in the same place and talking about the same topic, but everyone is thinking and seeing different things was just so interesting to me, and I wanted to create the same feeling digitally as a game.
「Two players in the same world, looking at the same world but what they perceive are two different worlds」
Trying to recreate this in a game and building & dealing a network syetem that can realize this was quite a struggle.
This game has definitely been the longest journey for me.
Though, after seeing 『Bokura』 completed, I do feel this is a very unique game never seen before,
and I hope that I could deliver an experience the players never had before.
For me, 『Bokura』 is a game that marked a significant milestone in my life.
I am preparing to localize the game in more languages other than the currently available Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
I will continue on this journey in hopes that the game will reach more people and think of what others see.

Not only is it on Steam, but also on Nintendo Switch & iOS/Android. Plus, the game is now playable cross-platform.
I hope you can play with your friend on each players preferred platform.
And to celebrate the full release of the game, Kōji Kumeta the author 『Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei』 has drawn a new Key Art of Bokura.
I am deeply honored Kōji Kumeta-sensei drew the key visual for the game.
Every iconic object from the human world and the mechanical world is connected in one stroke.
Following the maze-like line made it feel like I played an actual game.

For this announcement, I wanted to let everyone know a pre-emptive update towards the full release,
and some changes we are making to the game and the price change.

・An overhaul of the final stage
・A new gimmick added along the overhaul
・Some bug fixes
This is planned to be the last big update that will include additional content or overhauls.
I hope that everyone will enjoy the Bokura that we built, through the feedbacks and comments from the community.
【The removal of the Friend's Pass and changes to the pricing】
First, to the point.
The changes being made, with the full release on August 10th, are as follows,
・The Friend's Pass discontinuation as of August 10th
・The change in pricing as of August 10th (Around half the current price)
I want to be as transparent as possible, so I will explain as much as I can.
Along with the full release on August 10th, the game will have "crossplay" and the game will be playable between Steam, Nintendo Switch and iOS/Android
As the game is co-op "exclusive", the huge wall of 「being on the same platform as your partner」 was something I really wanted to take away.
The development process was not straight forward, but with the help from the Switch porting team, we were able to create an environment where each player can play comfortably on their own platform.
On the other end, to realize the Friend's Pass playability for multiple platforms was much more difficult than expected.
We thought that, servicing each platform, providing a constant and stable gameplay experience, and updating multiple platforms all at once would overwhelm us, as we are a small team.
After many discussions with our publisher, we came to the very difficult decision of removing the Friend's Pass.
After August 10th, new downloads of the Friend's Pass will not be possible.
I personally believe the Friend's Pass system is amazing, and I really wanted it to live. It pains me this is our conclusion, and I want to apologize for the result.
Steam Friend's Pass players will be able to play the additional content of this new update until the August 10th full release update.
After August 10th the game will be unplayable for the Friend's Pass.
Although it will be for a short period of time, we hope you can enjoy the additional contents until the full release.
In conjunction with the removal of the Friend's Pass, the price of the game will be halved from the current price on August 10th to make it even for each player. (This will be done for each region)
The change in pricing will occur not only on Steam, but for Nintendo Switch and iOS/Android.
The new pricing will be implemented at the same time as the full release on August 10th,
If anyone is thinking of purchasing the Steam version of the game, we recommend waiting until the new pricing is in place.

Around early August, before te full release of the Steam version on August 10th, the game will receive a free update to add an ending!
You will be able to enjoy a new story after the current ending.
With new stages also added, you can see a glimpse of what may happen after what "bokura" experienced on that day in winter.
The game was released as early access on Febuary 14th, 2023, and has now over 70,000 downloads thanks to everyone.
I never expected to receive so many amazing reactions and comments from around the world!
I really feel and appreciate that the memories of this game has found a spot in your hearts.
I have read many comments pondering on what happens beyond the ending.
Through your words, the desire for me to create a place that only the players who love the game can reach, erupted in my heart.
This was something not planned in the initial plot but I think this is something that everyone, including players that finished the game, can enjoy.
