⚔️ CAMPAIGN CHANGES
CHARACTERS

Johnathan Trim has received a visual update to distinguish him from other characters.
QUESTS

Jet Valentine’s indicator has been repositioned to the correct location.
Completing the encounter with Jet Valentine now correctly progresses Real Card Blues.
Janice’s fail state now resolves correctly.
A new icon has been added for the Dash Hound Derby.
Taco Tim no longer gives infinite fruit tacos (sorry).
Completing Lemonade Is Life now removes lingering lemonade cups.
Putting on a Play can now be completed as intended.
⚔️ GAMEPLAY CHANGES
Cards

Buildings under construction no longer apply penalties while being built.
The Bouncy Castle now correctly applies its discount effect.
The Taco Truck now becomes permanent after a level-up, as intended. The Ice Cream Truck now freezes a building at the start of your turn, giving players more time to strategize with its effect.
🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

Players now always win the first coin flip against Hawthorne in the tutorial. This change is intended to support early-game consistency.
The D21 collectible can now be picked up, as intended.
& many more minor bug fixes and QoL improvements.

✨NEW FEATURES

We’ve given the controls a full overhaul! While there’s still a bit of polish to come, gameplay now feels much smoother on both keyboard and controller. Give it a go and let us know what you think!
Added a pause state to the Campaign to make it clear that the game is paused whilst the top bar is open.
🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

Improved the "Show Stats" feature: it’s now more responsive and displays the building type as well as profit per turn.
Map Shortcut added! Press M (keyboard) or Y (controller) to open the map. We've also added the M icon to the UI for clarity.
Added a "Show Stats" button to the match UI to help you remember it's there.
Removed the Main Menu shortcut from the settings menu—it's still accessible via the top bar.
Updated the Input tab in the Settings Menu to reflect the new control scheme.
Replaced the intro trailer with a new, updated one.
Pressing Esc now closes all open menus and popups—clean and quick.
Fixed an issue where double-tapping Tab (or pressing right twice on the D-pad) would incorrectly open the Mayor’s Office.
& many more minor bug fixes and QoL improvements.

🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

Added objectives to Hawthorne & Jojo’s tutorial battles to make them easier to follow.
Moved Phillip to a less populated location, making him easier to find & interact with.
Increased the description text size on Ability, Event, and Building cards so they are easier to read.
Added a collider to the Ice Cream Truck in Mystery Falls.
Fixed the issue where Sandy’s name wasn't appearing after meeting them.
Fixed the collection radius and UI positioning for two campaign collectibles: The Bearclaw Victory Poster, Coopers Bowl & The Competition Trophy.
Removed the UI background on character UI elements to make the campaign appear much cleaner.
Mystery Falls should now be slightly less mysterious (at least when it comes to getting stuck in rocks).
& many more minor bug fixes and QoL improvements.

We've updated several parts of the tutorial to clear up common confusion.
Added a tutorial to JoJo.
Fixed an issue where numerous collectibles could not be collected.
Disabled the mouse cursor while moving around the campaign.
The campaign map has seen several improvements. Colliders are tighter, assets have been fixed, and characters now appear more naturally placed in the world, making navigation easier. We’re still not totally happy with how accessible the map is, but more on that later…
& many more minor bug fixes and QoL improvements.

This update clears out the clutter and smooths the edges: Amos has finally settled into the right spot 🗺️, Sandy’s stopped her endless chatter (phew! 😅), and those vanishing ties and badges? Back where they belong! 🧑‍🎩✨ We’ve also welcomed more tutorial NPCs to help new players hit the ground running and brought back the match timer ⏱️ to keep your online battles fast and focused.
But wait, there’s more! 🌟 We’re working on a roadmap to share what we’re cooking up next 🍳 and what you can get excited about in the weeks to come. Stay tuned—we’re just getting started, and it’s going to be a wild ride! 🎢

Gameplay

⌛ Timers are back! Online matches now have a timer to ensure games stay quick and competitive.
⚔️ CAMPAIGN CHANGES
Battles

You can no longer face Amos before learning the basics from Hawthorne. He’ll now wait his turn.
Amos was mistakenly hanging out at The Entrance. He’s been moved to his proper place in Spring Valley.
Conversations

CeCe and NaNa have joined The Entrance, chatting (or squawking?) about their favorite new movie. 🍿
Six new tutorial NPCs have been added to The Entrance to explain game mechanics and tips for new players. Three more tutorial NPCs have been added to Spring Valley.
Sandy was accidentally repeating herself during conversations. This has been fixed, so she’ll keep things fresh now.
Quests

Fantastaco has been rebuilt from the ground up and is now a fully functional quest—time to get delivering! 🌮
It’s easier to understand who’s working for Bob the Job at the Lumbermill versus who’s just hanging out. We’ve updated the setting with clearer environmental storytelling.
🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

Competitors and quest givers in The Entrance and Spring Valley are now correctly tracked on your map. 🗺️
Cosmetic items (like ties, makeup, scars, and badges) are no longer disappearing or acting strangely—they’re fixed and ready to show off! 💄✨
Online Play & Campaign highlights weren’t displaying properly in the second and third mayor’s offices. This has been corrected.
A new tutorial popup explains the mulligan phase during your second match (vs. Robbie), so you’ll know exactly how it works. 🔄
Ranger Tom suggested you change your deck, but it wasn’t clear how to do it. We’ve added a helpful popup to guide you after his advice. 🃏

🏡 MATCH CHANGES
Gameplay

🏠 Inspecting a building at the start of your turn no longer freezes your hand. The game will now let you inspect in peace!
⚔️ CAMPAIGN CHANGES
Battles

🛡️ Winning the MJ and Nate quest will now properly end the battle without endless repeats or false loss messages.
🐦 Benjamin Bird has finished chatting about his latest obsession - online play - and is ready to face you in a proper duel. Prepare to bring your A-game! 🎮
🏆 Repeated battles with Nate, Jellybean, and Kensington are no longer possible. One duel is all you need—save the farming for Timberton.🌲
Conversations

🕵️ Skip is no longer pretending to be Benjamin Bird. Everyone’s identities are back in order!
Quests

🍋 Bertie will now properly recognize when you’ve collected the cups for the 'Lemonade is Life' quest, so you can finally complete it. 🥤
Items

🪝 Two messages in bottles (Galactic Report Log #327-A & DESTROY AFTER READING) now have their descriptions restored!
🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

🐻 Billy Bearclaw now has a collider and properly interacts with the world around him.
Graham’s transformation into a beaver is complete—his character model now reflects his true self. 🦫
🧍‍♀️ Lucy Claws and MJ no longer overlap with other characters. Everyone’s got their space back.
🎚️ The key items scrollbar is fully functional again, making it easier to navigate your inventory.
🆙 There was a bit of confusion with level progress not syncing correctly between the Player Profile and the Mayor’s Office. Now the level-up bar updates perfectly across all screens!🌟

Rebel Riot - Rebel Riot was only targeting Commercial buildings. Now? No one is safe from the chaos! 🌆🔥

Statuses

Buildings were sometimes showing two level-up icons by mistake—double trouble! That’s been fixed, so things are back to leveling up smoothly. 📈✨
⚔️ CAMPAIGN CHANGES
Battles

Pico was giving everyone the silent treatment, making battles impossible. He’s ready to fight again—good luck! 💥
Kiara couldn’t let go and kept challenging players after losing. She’s now taking time to recover. 😅
Amos was speaking pure gibberish after defeat, blocking his quest. He’s now back to making sense. 🗨️
Jellybean thought she won even when she lost—and even handed out rewards for losing! That mix-up is now sorted. 🍭

Squirrel Me Timbers has had a complete revamp! Visit Captain Cloverfield in Mystery Falls to kick off this exciting adventure. 🐻✨

Oops! There was a sneaky entry to Beartooth Point from Mystery Falls that let players in early. We’ve blocked it off with rocks—no shortcuts now! 🪨⛔
Skip was impersonating Benjamin. Identity theft is no joke, and Skip now has his proper name. 🙃
Player level in the Mayor’s Office wasn’t lining up with the Match Results Screen. We’ve fixed it so everything matches perfectly now! ✔️
You can now see your exact XP progress toward the next level, displayed on both the Match Results Screen and your player profile—making it easier than ever to track your growth! 🌟

Cards & Card Packs

The Apple Card was incorrectly giving $20 instead of the $50 shown on the card. This bug has been squashed, and the card is now as juicy as it claims! 🍎💵
Collection

When you added and removed a card from a deck, your card count sneakily went up by one each time. Not anymore—back to honest collecting!
⚔️ GAMEPLAY CHANGES
Battles

Nate Laboto and Amos were unavailable for battles due to a bug. They’re now back and ready to play! 💥
Quests

Pico, Gorp, and Nicky wouldn’t talk to players after being defeated, blocking their quests. They’re now all ears, and their quests can be completed! 🗨️
Items

The Bearclaw Mayoral Poster & Competition Announcement now have the correct info. 📝
Minigames

Litter League had a bug that made things messy. We’ve temporarily disabled it while we tidy it up. 🗑️✨
🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

Online play now correctly unlocks at level 3. 🌐
The scroll bar in the "Key Items" section of the Collection book is now working as intended. 📜
MJ and Captain Bayler were overlapping in the game world. They’ve agreed to give each other some space. 🧍‍♂️↔️🧍‍♂️
Pepper was incorrectly giving out rewards before being battled. This has been fixed—no more freebies! 🎁

🎮 SYSTEM CHANGES

You can now open the map by pressing the 'M' button.
⚔️ GAMEPLAY CHANGES
Battles

Fixed two issues with buildings featuring a construction timer: - Countdown timers now count down correctly - Timers disappear as intended once they hit zero, allowing construction to complete smoothly.
Conversations

Nicky & Kevin have stopped repeating themselves. We all love a good story, but once is enough!
Kensington, Matilda, & Nicky now let you battle them as intended.
Snickerdoodle is ready to chat and challenge you to a race—better start stretching!
Pico & Gorp no longer begin their conversations with error text (they promise to use real words now).
The following characters now have functional dialogue and are ready to chat: Meatball, Ranger Tom, Gorton Hinge, Red Herring, Jet Valentine, Stefan, Jellybean, The Captains, The Pirates, MJ, Nate Laboto, Natalie, Benjamin Bird, Pepper, Sandy, Tony Galore, Bob the Job, Donnie, Kevin, and Flippers.
Quests

Defeating Poppy will now complete her quest as intended.
'Camping Sucks', 'Sad Pancakes', and 'Lemonade is Life' can now be completed.
Round 4 of 'Journey to Sun City' has been fixed. Speak to Ranger Tom to progress to Round 5.
Minigames

'Dash Hound Derby' has now been fixed! You can now Race Snickerdoodle in Spring Valley.
🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

Fixed an issue with bear models where their eyes bulged unexpectedly.
Adjusted scrolling boundaries during matches to reduce sensitivity—You can now interact with the UI without the camera scrolling!
Improved text readability for the 'Confirm' text during the mulligan phase. Collectible popups now scale correctly with text length, ensuring no more overflow or messy displays.

The "Unstuck Me!" button in the Extras tab (Settings Menu) teleports you back to The Entrance if you get stuck. No more awkward cliff-hanging moments—literally!

Mystic Mike was caught repeating himself—classic Mystic Mike! We gave him a nudge, and he's now more mysterious than ever!

The missing description was added to the "I Got In" Collectible.
🛠️ OTHER FIXES & TWEAKS

Minor typos in Jet Valentine's dialogue and the intro paragraph have been resolved. Paco and Natalie shared the same location. Natalie has now relocated to Camp Oaknut for some well-deserved breathing room.
Spooky Steve was showing some concerning behavior. He's left the Canyon for now, but don't worry—he'll haunt us again soon. 👻
