Hey everyone! For the last year and a half, I’ve spent most of my time focusing on school. In that time, I occasionally made small changes to the game, and now I believe I’ve tinkered with things enough to release those changes in the form of a small update to Release Version V.
This is extremely embarrassing, but apparently, Enter The Backrooms had some faulty code for loading/reading save data that's been lingering in the game since the first Beta for Release Version V. I think the patch I just did fixed it. This was only affecting people who recently
Hey everyone! I hope this news doesn't bother too many people, but after a lot of thought and speaking with fans, friends, and family, I've decided to raise the price of Enter The Backrooms from $4.99 USD to $9.99 USD. Here's a breakdown of my train of thought: - Enter The Backro
Happy Halloween everyone! First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in the Steam Scream Sale. Tonight I prepared another small patch for the game, here's what's been changed: - Added a loading bar to the startup of the game. (This is mainly for people with extra slow l
Hello again! This is another quick patch that irons out small issues with the game. The most notable component of this patch has to deal with the pesky white screen bug. I read online that Processing (the software I used to build the game) handles stuff on the startup of programs
Hey there! I hope you all have been enjoying Release Version V so far. There were a couple of small bugs that were overlooked in the major update, so this is a quick patch to get those issues resolved. Changes: - Fixed small rendering bugs on Levels 21 and 22. - Lights in multi-s
After almost two and a half years of development, the ultimate update for Enter The Backrooms is finally ready for launch! Introducing Release Version V – the biggest and best update to ever be released for the game. This update introduces new levels, new entities, an overhauled
The translation team of Enter The Backrooms worked very hard to bring you this latest Beta for Release Version V! Not only does this Beta include updated translations for the game, it improves the menu in Sandbox Mode, adds a new controls setting, and makes a mountain of small ad
The previous Beta may have included the True Ending of Enter The Backrooms, but that doesn’t mean I’m done yet! This Beta not only includes new journal pages and achievements, it introduces one last ending to the game: Zenith. Other than those features, this Beta makes some small
I’ve been working on Enter The Backrooms for over two years now. The levels, the entities, the chaos, and the excitement have all made the journey to this point nothing short of incredible. That’s why I’m so happy to release this Beta in particular, which includes the culmination
These last couple weeks have flown by. College work has been pretty light so far, so I had plenty of time to work on the additions and changes in this Beta. As of the previous Beta, 11 new Main Levels have been added for Release Version V. Now, it’s time to show the Negative Leve
Summer is over, and so is my summer break, which means it’s time to get back on track with Enter The Backrooms! I apologize for the long hiatus, but I thought I should enjoy the last few weeks of summer by taking it easy as opposed to working on the game. Now that I’ve started co
Hello, everyone! I’ve worked very hard for the past couple of weeks to bring you four new levels to explore and engage with. This selection of levels is a bit odd as it strays from the main canon of the Backrooms Wikidot, but I’m happy with how these levels turned out and think p
The title is pretty self-explanatory. Such a large number of players already use the Betas that I decided it would be best to make them public. Hopefully, this will let more people enjoy new content as its released - although be warned that beta versions are less stable and prone
Greetings, Backrooms fanatics! As the month of May has continued, I have worked hard on new content for Enter The Backrooms (maybe a little harder than I should!). Not only did I work on some new levels for the game, but I also experimented with a new system for players to tweak

This is just a quick patch that addresses some issues that were still in the game after Release Version IV, specifically with some level exits and Partygoers.
Release Version IV upgrades the entirety of Enter The Backrooms. This update adds new levels to explore, new entities to interact with, more decorative features, more languages, small structures that can provide you with items, and much more. The biggest change in this update is
I have spent this week going through Enter The Backrooms and fixing all of the bugs I could find. Not only that, the fantastic team of translators for the game have translated the new text included in Release Version IV. I also threw in some new ambiance to make the sound design
