DreamScript’s development continued at a steady pace throughout the year. We’re no longer adding any big, explosive new features. Instead, the focus has been on polishing what is already there. A lot of work has gone into the game’s visuals, and we’re happy to say that some of the worlds are now starting to actually look inviting.
For the first time, we have release-ready levels. The screenshot below shows the direction of the game’s visual style and how we want DreamScript to look at release. There is still a lot of work left to bring all levels to this quality. This includes more asset placement, lighting work, and visual effects polish. The road ahead is still long, but the direction is clear.
Next year, we’ll continue along the same proven path—moving forward in small but steady steps.
We want to thank everyone who has followed the project, read the blog, or given feedback during the year. Your support helps us keep going, even through the slower, less exciting parts of development.
