Duskpunk, my latest game, is finally out on Steam! I'm doing a massive sale, of both my other games, to celebrate!
Duskpunk is a tale of hope, grit and survival, where life and death hang on a roll of the dice. Will you join the ranks of the powerful, or spark revolution?
Like Silicon Dreams, Duskpunk has a sprawling branching narrative, and your choices have serious consequences: for yourself, your allies, and the city as a whole. You manage resources to keep on surviving (Silicon Dreams had your Company Rank, and the trust of your subjects; Duskpunk has stress, health, time and a few others). It's very much working in a similar space, but the world you can explore is so much bigger: a whole steampunk city, with centuries of history!
It’s an interesting time to be making a game about oppression and resistance, to say the least. I hope this story resonates with people.
Please follow me on socials or sign up to my newsletter for info on updates and what I’m doing next!
Thanks again, and good luck.

Hi everyone!!
At long last, Clockwork Bird (AKA me, Jamie here!) has officially announced my next project: gritty survival RPG Duskpunk.
Inspired by tabletop RPGs and narrative adventure games like Citizen Sleeper, Duskpunk is a game of hope, grit and survival. Explore the streets of a steampunk city, gather friends and allies, and spark revolution in a world consumed by war.
It’s coming to PC later this year, so be sure to follow the page for updates! In the meantime you can try the free demo up on the Steam page.
Thank you friends, and stay safe out there.

We know that, as a narrative-heavy game, SD might be better experienced from the couch rather than hunched over a desk. So now, if you have a couch-and-controller-based setup, you should be able to enjoy the game in comfort.
We have tested this build as much as we can, but there's always a chance we missed something. If you find a bug, please drop us a line using the link provided in the in-game bug reporting system, from the pause menu.

We honestly think that we've put together a little narrative gem here - even though it took a year and a half of blood, sweat, tears, and a lot of words - and we would be so grateful if you'd consider casting your vote for Story-Rich games on our little offering.
It's scrappy, small, and certainly not the biggest fish in the pond, but we're proud of this little thing we've made. So are you, if you're one of the people who wrote us a lovely Steam review! (Thank you for those, by the way! We try to read every one.) So if you'd like to help out a little studio whose niche game you love, please vote for us. Interrogators everywhere will thank you.

Hey cyberpunks!
We've talked a lot about how we think this game is ripe with stories to be harvested. In this free DLC, we're pleased to introduce you to two of them, written in collaboration with cyberpunk author Matthew Goodwin.
Every good cyberpunk detective story needs a cyberpunk murder, right? Meet JH-422, the first known android murderer. It killed a government official in broad daylight, so this should be an open-and-shut case. Should be.
Our second addition is RL-404 (aka "Raleigh", aka "Error-404"), holo-streamer and stunt performer. Her owner has been up to some shady dealings, and is being interrogated in the next cell over. Will you work with the other interrogator to put him away, or try to preserve RL-404's life of fame?

Also coming in this update is the narrative flowchart. This will display after each interrogation, showing any crucial information you discovered and hinting at any secrets you missed. Use it to guide replays or just to reflect on crucial points as you prepare for the next scene.

As always, thank you so much for your support! We've seen a lot of really great feedback, comments, and reviews from our players and it warms our cybernetic hearts <3
If you haven't already, we hope you'll try the demo out and buy the game if you like what you see!

Greetings, cyberpunks!
The Fatality & Fame update is coming to Silicon Dreams on October 12th and will be released as a free update to the base game!
New characters!
We’ve created two entirely new characters that will be added to the interrogation roster, written in collaboration with cyberpunk author, Matthew Goodwin.

Narrative map
After each interrogation you’ll be shown this “narrative flowchart”. The narrative map will show you which crucial pieces of information you discovered during the interrogation, and which secrets remain to be seen. You can also check it from the main menu, and you’ll be able to see which information you discovered this time, and all the information you have ever seen while playing, helping you keep track of what content you haven’t found yet.

We’re really excited to get these characters into your hands and think they do a great job of presenting some uniquely challenging interrogations and further exploring the world of Silicon Dreams.

Silicon Dreams just received a major, much-asked-for update: the ability to rewind the story and replay previously seen scenes!

Here's the lowdown:
A word of warning, though: rewind will only work for scenes that you played after 9.6.2021! Until that point we didn't have a system in place to save the scene bookmarks that the rewind feature relies on. But any scenes you played after 9.6.2021 can still be rewound to, even if there are earlier scenes in that run that the rewind feature can't get to.
Happy winding!
The game now has a "rewind" feature, allowing you to pick a save slot and go back to the beginning of any scene that was played during that game. So if, for example, you wish you'd dealt with a character differently 2 scenes ago, you can wind back to the start of that scene and b

Some caveats:
This update fixes a lot of stylistic errors in the German text , and a few places where the German text couldn't be found by the system. If you see a line that looks like "-loc- error: text could not be found", please let us know here ! As far as we know, all those problems are n

If you see a line that looks like "-loc- error: text could not be found", please let us know here! As far as we know, all those problems are now gone.
This also fixed a bug where learning Shakira's big secret did not unlock the appropriate report answer to the report question "Did you learn anything else of note about the subject?"
A few fixes here, but they're very important: some of these make sure the correct endings/epilogues play, which could be very narratively important at a critical moment! Fixed bug where sometimes clicking an already spoken dialog line would lock the game in an uncontinuable state

- added resolution options, AA, Vsync, you can even manually set the target frame rate
- R-1982 being sent to maintenance will now yield the correct epilogue text
- Savegames are no longer deleted upon finishing the game; the save will stick around and you can revisit it later to review the epilogue texts for all characters.
- Fixed RO-334's line saying you had 15 minutes; this didn't match the true timer. Timings have been tweaked and the text corrected.
- Fixed issue where variables were not being set in certain aftermath scenes, causing incorrect epilogue texts.
- You can now delete saved games
- Behind the scenes fix: reorganised how game logs are kept

v. 23.04.2021 patch notes:
- Added "report bug" button to pause menu (Please use this to submit future bugs, obviously!)
- fixed problem where some achievements were impossible to get (ie. any achievement to do with sending an android to maintenance, and most of SM-032's ending conditions). These should now all be achievable!
- fixed rare bug where ALEx could not be repaired or decommissioned
- Fixed bug that prevented news headlines from displaying correctly when playing in German on Linux
- Alt-tabbing out of the game now no longer causes the music to skip to next track

Greetings, cyberpunks.

Our new cyberpunk interrogation sim “Silicon Dreams” is launching as we speak! What’s it about, you ask? Three words: tears in rain.

Silicon Dreams is a narrative cyberpunk thriller about interrogating rogue androids. In a corporate-controlled dystopian future where the lines between the real and the artificial have blurred to almost nothing, you play an interrogation-model android who becomes caught between big tech and a brewing revolution.

It’s a "Papers, Please" style bureaucratic thriller with a Blade Running soul.
Speak, or forever hold your peace - Carefully control the flow of information. Decide what to reveal, and when, and to whom.
Facts vs feelings - Monitor interviewees’ emotions in real-time: joy, sadness, anger, disgust, shock, and fear. Use this data to plan a strategy & draw conclusions.
Live and let die - Choose to spare deviant androids, or condemn them and secure your own survival within the corporation.
Branching paths - Move through a vast web of dialogue options and experience multiple endings depending on the path you choose.

If that sounds up your street, you can get it from the steam page!

Followers, fans, and fellow cyberpunks, it’s finally here: Silicon Dreams is launching on April 20th! It'll be available through Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux. Here's the trailer! If you'd like to know as soon as it's out, you can wishlist it here . A cyber-noir thriller with

In a corporate-controlled dystopian future where the lines between the real and the artificial have blurred to almost nothing, an interrogation-model android becomes caught between big tech and a brewing revolution. Players can intimidate, manipulate, betray or befriend; they can aid the insurgents or bring about their downfall. They can adhere to their strict programming – or succumb to deviant emotion.

If that sounds like your thing, great! We're only two developers, though, so we'd really appreciate a wishlist, or any support on twitter, facebook or instagram you can muster.
Thanks, and wish us luck!

It’s 2065, and humanoid androids are the hot new gadget! They’re eager to please and totally obedient - or at least, that was the plan.

You play D-0527, an interrogator-model android. It's your job to analyse and judge other androids: the disobedient, malfunctioning kind. You’ll learn their secrets, gain their trust, and make the call: should they be released, or destroyed? Does an android that’s run from its owner need to be “fixed”?

These decisions may sound difficult, but you were built to answer them - and you wouldn’t disappoint your creator, would you?
