The day can now be closed whenever you want. No waiting for night, no clicking End Day and watching nothing happen, no saving and reloading to force it through.
This was the most-reported blocker in the first two days, and we said on the forums that we would look at it. Here it is.
The Game Now Tells You What to Use
Two changes that should take a lot of the guesswork out of the moment-to-moment work:
Tool selection icons. The selection UI now clearly shows which tool a step actually needs, instead of leaving you to work it out.
Mouse wheel prompts. Every mechanic that needs the scroll wheel now shows a mouse icon telling you so. Switching seats while collecting trash, moving between positions, all of it. A lot of people were never told the scroll wheel was involved at all, which is on us.
Rim Cleaning
Rim cleaning was throwing errors, which is why some of you could only clean two wheels out of four, or got no response from the spray and brush at all. That has been fixed.
Better Pay
Service prices have gone up by around 20 percent across the board. The gap between what a job pays and what rent and card charges take out was too wide, and too many people ended up in debt they had no realistic way out of. This is a first pass at that, not the last word on it.
Special Jobs
Fixed the issues with special jobs, including the timed ones that could not be completed no matter what you did.
About the Ozone Machine
We want to be straight with you here, because this is the bug you have reported most.
It is not fixed in this patch. We have not been able to reproduce it reliably on our side, and shipping a guess would waste everyone's time.
What this build does add is diagnostic data around the ozone machine, so that when it disappears, we can actually see what happened instead of guessing.
So if it vanishes on you again, please report it. This time the report will carry real information back to us. That is what we need to close this one properly.
