We’re incredibly excited to be part of the Steam Game Festival Spring Edition with a demo for Recompile! The team is still very busy developing the game despite the Corona Virus situation (but safely from home) but we had the opportunity to give you a little taste of Recompile. Before we let you explore the Mainframe, please take a second to read some important information below:
• The demo we just released is NOT representative of the final game. Neither visually as the game has been ported to HDRP and now looks so much better, but also mechanically: for example, the rate to which to you get power ups is altered for the fun factor.
• The final game is much more than a sandbox: it’s a metroidvania-inspired game with a narrative, branching paths, NPCs, different endings, environments, enemy types, lots more skills to unlock etc…
• A tip: shooting is not the only solution… ;)
