Hey all,
Whoa, where has the time gone? We swear we just blinked our eyes, and now it's 2026 already. Eitherway, seems like a good moment to tell you about everything we've created in the past year.
Deep in the Otherworld
As you may know, our game draws inspiration from Celtic mythology. As with most cultures, they had their own ideas about afterlife, and the called it the Otherworld. It's something you'll get to explore as a player.

In the Otherworld, you'll get to befriend people that ended up there for one reason or another, but could not pass on to what's beyond. The Otherworld is also a watery place.

You'll also meet new enemies. As the Otherworld marks the late mid-game point, they don't go down that easily. Once killed, they'll split up in multiple smaller enemies, urging you to think critically about your weapons and tactics before you kill them.

Sidequests
Some of the more memorable events unlock special characters, who offer their own side quests and rewards. These side quests play out like short stories, usually with a twist or two to keep things interesting.
So if you get stuck on the main quest or aren't ready to face a difficult boss, there is always the option to visit these characters, and take on a few side quests to earn extra gold to buy better weapons, or collect more skill shards before heading back into the fray.

Side quests come in different flavors like investigations, combat challenges, and sometimes the occasional boss fight.
The arena
Those of you that have followed us closely may already have seen a glimpse of the arena. It's a place where fighters come to test their combat skills to their limits. The arena itself was already in a good state, you can this clip below from some time ago.
However, this year we improved some of the surrounding areas as well as the meta game around the fights. Entering the Arena from the world map now brings you to the lobby. Where players can learn about the arena rules, rewards and statistics.

While we've had plenty of fun with the arena in its current state, we also noticed a few annoyances, like spending hard earned silver on similar starting gear multiple times.
A big update to the Arena is the addition of persistent upgrades, giving players the chance to unlock permanent progression and become stronger with every run.

So now, when you are defeated in the arena, you get to spend all the silver you've earned to buy permanent upgrades in the lobby. There will be cheaper options to get you started, and more expensive options for those that want to get the most of out of their runs!
When you spend coins on companions, these NPCs begin to populate the basement area, transforming it into a training area.
The future
Now the elephant in the room: when will this release? With the Otherworld coming along nicely, we feel that we're nearing completion. We aim to finish development of Unsung Warriors this year. Then we need to do some testing and integrating, along with some publishing affairs. So we hope that towards the end of 2026 we can say something more about when this game is coming out. If you want to stay up to date about recent developments, we recommend you check out our Kickstarter updates.
That's all we have to show for now. Know that you can already wishlist the full game here:
Cheers,
