Future first update

While the release date is approaching, we continue to improve the project! I am in a hurry to share the features that will be available very soon.

During these two weeks, multiple edits were made and new features added:
- Lock character position: if some animations force a character to move around the screen, and you don’t need it, this feature allows you to block movement from the animation.
- Character blocking: Do you play a game and often accidentally hit a character, moving it, or calling up a menu? Now you can block a character - he will not react to your actions in any way and will not interfere with you. To unlock, you need to hold the LMB on the character for 2 seconds.
- Attach to window: now you can attach a character to the window so that it moves with it.
- Save / Load: now the function of saving and loading settings is available for user objects. For example, you can save settings for all character materials and load them later.
- Image overlay: Decorate your windows for the winter! You can add your own picture and customize it to decorate your windows. Convenient and simple settings will help to easily adapt pictures to any window size by adjusting the picture for all windows only 1 time.
- Loading characters from Unity: Initially, it was planned to introduce this feature after release, launching community voting. However, during the existence of the forum, users asked questions and made suggestions, in which they often mentioned a similar function. Therefore, it was decided to introduce it before the release: You can easily upload your character to Unity and get the option of advanced settings. Differences from the usual download in the application: you can use a lot more file formats and skeletons. You can set up a complex skeleton correctly if it is not possible to do this automatically. Moreover, you can add physics to some parts of the character (for example, hair). You do not need to be a programmer or modeler, you don’t even have to be familiar with Unity. Just take a look at the tutorials (will appear in the coming days). Import in this way can take only five minutes! You can also send these characters to the workshop.
- Workshop:
UDCE is a sandbox where users can add the content they need. You can download or download characters from the workshop (available for both ordinary characters and advanced ones (from Unity), you can distinguish them using the background and the captions below). These characters will retain their settings.
- At the moment, two types of assets can be loaded into the workshop:
- Base humanoid character.
- Advanced humanoid character (transferred from Unity).
Note:
The update is still being tested and can be downloaded both before the release and a few days after it.
Video tutorials on new features, and updating the documentation will be in a few days.
