Hello players,
While Steel Sword Story is a compact, smaller-scale game, it's chock full of various monsters - all with their own movements and attacks they'll use to try to stop Azul on his journey.
Today we'll introduce some of said baddies!
■Dark Knight
Knights Rufus summoned from the demon world. They block Azul's path in the castle. The trick is to watch for their attacks. Take advantage of their tight defense and find an opening for a chance to win.

■Cobol
A tribe of small demons living in cave-like forts with the intelligence of a human child. Nonviolent by nature, they coexisted nicely with humans, until recently... Be careful of projectiles thrown from higher up.

■Mow
A boar or elephant-like beast. Get rammed by one of these heavy guys and you'll be in a world of pain. However, they are super reckless, so if you dodges their attacks, you may have a chance to fight back.

■Zom
The dead bodies of former citizens who were killed by Rufus's biological weapons. Nothing can be done to save these wandering souls, and all one can do is to destroy their bodies and free them from their eternal suffering.

■Helm
Puppet knights created by Rufus's soul-sealing magic. They look cute and kind of funny, but it's dangerous to underestimate the sheer volume of number of attacks and mass.

■Wizom
Former court magicians who were fascinated by evil magic. Blue ones emit thunder, purple ones fire, and black ones dark magic. The trick to fighting them is to dodge and close the gap immediately.

■Octapo
A turban shell octopus. It jumps out when prey comes near. The blue ones spit red poison ink, so be careful. There are also rare species that crawl out of the water and walk on land in dark places such as caves.

■Crow
A large round bird that swoops down from the sky when finding prey. They are omnivorous and sometimes target humans. Due to their intelligence and dexterity, some of them grab rocks and drop them from the sky.

■Pom/Mother Pom
Earthworms with a red, fruity appearance. Many males cling to the female Mother Pom. They put more emphasis on survival as a group than on individuals, and when attacked, males self-destruct to protect females.

■Byob
Enormous viscous organisms that live beneath the earth. They scatter bubbles of highly acidic gastric juice to kill prey, and suck nutrients from the corpse using roots wriggling underground.

Are YOU a bad enough dude to press on through the waves of monsters and make it all the way to the final boss?!
In the next and final post, we'll introduce some of the bosses as well!
