Lumberjack’s Dynasty - Phase 2 - The Ponsse Update

Hello Lumberjack’s and Lumberjills,

It’s time for our Phase 2 of our Early Access Lumberjack’s Dynasty Roadmap! New content is now a download away. So, without further ado, let’s get straight into what you will get in this fresh new update:

Lumberjack’s Dynasty - The Ponsse Update

NEW MACHINERY

The Ponsse Bison. A powerful timber forwarder.

The Ponsse Cobra. A slick new harvester.

The Ponsse Scorpion. Highly effective harvester.

Apart from looking great, they also have new turning mechanics (the turning is done via changing wheel power), and they are much better in terms of maneuverability.

BUG FIXES

  • Made some adjustments to vehicle suspension, so that traffic cars and player vehicles don't fall into the ground.
  • NPC cars should no longer fall through bridges.
  • The persistent social point bug has been fixed.
  • Fixed previously unfixable building parts (floors/walls) in several houses: for example, Lily’s house.
  • Fixed an old fishing cheat (looking at the sky while pulling fish).
  • Sheep clipping through obstacles fixed.
  • Fixed stairs and clipping in mill building.
  • Fixed several levitating objects.
  • Fixed some floating trees.
  • Fixed several objects vs. scaffold conflicts.
  • Adjusted the terrain and the scaffold at the player's cellar entrance.
  • Reduced speed of when trailer could be detached from 20 km/h to 3.6 km/h.
  • Added proper info about what is on the trailer (chips or bark).
  • Game might have confused what was spilled from what silo – fixed.
  • Proper volume/heights of trailer loads (bark/wood chips).
  • Removed the prompt for hitching trailer to trailer.
  • Fixed several trees sunken in terrain.
  • Fixed the repair icons for interiors of the Mayor's hotel.
  • Corrected the description for the fisherman skill.
  • QoL-Improvement for towing a car. If a player has fuel (over 20 l.), calling the tow truck is free now. However, if the player is low on fuel it still costs - but it refuels the player.
  • Fixed many dialogues.
  • Fixed the lakes.
  • Various smaller QoL and game improvements.

All of us here at Toplitz, we are huge fans of the Ponsse brand - they are beautiful machines. To see them in our game is one heck of a blast! So, don’t wait any longer and try them out in Pinegrove as of right now! And as always, tell us your thoughts below.

Regards,

Your Lumberjack’s Dynasty Team
