Lumberjack's Dynasty - Monthly Update - December

Hello Lumberjacks and Lumberjills,

The month of November has gone quickly, hasn’t it!?! In our part of the world, you can feel that winter has started, and Xmas is just around the corner. With the month gone, we thought that it would be fitting to tell you a little bit about what we’ve been up to and what we’ve been working on. A little monthly update you might say.

So, first up - tree physics. Over the last month and a bit, we’ve been working hard on improving the physics of our trees. Afterall, a game about a lumberjack should have the best “Timbeeerrr!!” moments possible. We’ve been tinkering with the tree crown simulation, and we feel we’ve made some good improvements on that front. Soon, we will be able to share the results with you so you can be a judge of that yourself.

Another part of the game that we’ve been working on this month is creating and improving the many places and buildings that you will get to see in Lumberjack’s Dynasty. In our game, you will be able to visit places such as hotels, coffee shops, a ski jumping complex and more. And apart from being able to renovate your own house and sawmill, there will be other special social places which you will be able to renovate, such as stores, deerstands and more. We want you to have as much fun in our world as possible, with many varied activities, things to do, and people to see. As they say, variety is the spice of life. ^^

And lastly, we’ve also made improvements to our menu’s/UI, AI, gameplay, and more. Looking back at it, it’s been a busy month!

Let us know what you thought about our November update. Would you want to see more write-ups like these in the future? Maybe there’s something that you are curious about and want an answer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. And as always, join us on our Facebook and Twitter. And if you are on Discord, hop over to our server. We hang around there quite a bit.

Until next time
