What Will You Do in The End of The Sun?
While The End of The Sun focuses heavily on exploring an open, immersive world, don’t worry—there’s plenty to do! The game invites you to wander through breathtaking locations steeped in Slavic atmosphere, but exploration is just the beginning.
Get ready to solve puzzles, uncover mysteries, and delve into a rich narrative full of surprises.
Follow the Trails of Time
As you explore the world of The End of The Sun, you’ll encounter mysterious campfires. These fires are directly linked to pivotal events in the lives of the characters and specific seasons of the year.
Light a bonfire during the correct season, and smoke will rise to guide you to key locations.
This will lead you to discover "Traces of Time"—fragments of events tied to a particular place. When a vision rewinds its timeline, it indicates that the story is incomplete. Your task? Find specific objects related to the Trace of Time and restore the proper sequence of events, stabilizing the path of fate.
Non-Linear Storytelling
Each campfire may connect to others, creating an intricate web of events. However, the order in which you tackle missions and uncover the story is entirely up to you. This freedom allows you to experience the narrative at your own pace, making your journey uniquely personal.
Logic Meets Lore
Along the way, you’ll encounter logical puzzles deeply intertwined with the fates of the characters. Solving these not only progresses the story but also gives you the power to influence the unfolding events.
Learn and Discover
Dive deeper into the world to uncover special items marked as "Knowledge." These objects come with stories about their historical and cultural significance, offering a fascinating glimpse into the lives and tools of our Slavic ancestors.
Achievements and Secrets Await
For achievement hunters, we’ve hidden numerous Steam Achievements throughout the game. Whether you’re progressing the main storyline or just exploring for fun, you’ll have plenty of challenges to tackle.
And for the most observant adventurers, we’ve scattered a few subtle Easter Eggs in the game. Keep your eyes peeled—you never know what you might find!
With its unique blend of exploration, puzzle-solving, and storytelling, The End of The Sun offers a one-of-a-kind gaming experience. Will you uncover the secrets hidden in the trails of time?
